I planned to finish this episode two weeks ago and here I am.

I don't understand how it was easier to write when I was in college and working part-time than now that I'm just working full-time. Now I see why adults look like they do with those dead fish eyes.

By the way, just warning you guys, these two chapters are VERYYYYY long.

Have fun😊

– South of Yunkai –

The quill pressed against the white page, writing the last name on the list of Unsullied. Over 30,000 civilians, 83 Dothraki, 8,000 Unsullied, 3,554 Unsullied in training, and 1,446 boys who were formerly being trained but had now turned into civilians. That was more than 43,000 people.

Every single one of their names was now within the pages of the records written by Rhaenys with her own hand. Every single name indicated a person who had regained his or her freedom.

There was no way Rhaenys could remember every single name in these books, but she loved looking at them and going over each name because of what they represented to her.

Rhaenys never spoke of it, but there was a part of her that had always felt how powerless she was. She couldn't save her family and she couldn't save Lord Eddard. She couldn't do a thing for the people in King's Landing for years. These names indicated the people that she was able to help.

Rhaenys placed the quill down on its holder and blew on the page.

"With this, all the names have been recorded and we can begin the division of battalions within the Unsullied. Do you have any suggestions?" Rhaenys rose her head to look at Grey Worm who was sitting in front of her. Both were with their legs crossed on top of the dirty and sandy ground, the sun above their heads.

Behind them, their army was still marching forward with no signs of coming to a stop any time soon. They would soon be upon the walls of Yunkai and there was no need to camp on the road anymore.

Since they wanted to finish recording the identities of all the people with them, Rhaenys and Grey Worm had gone to the side and sat down to finish the last names. If the army advanced too much, they would stop and ride on their horses to the front and then find another place where they could continue finishing the records.

"There are some people that could make for good captains and lieutenants of the infantry battalions. This one is not too sure about the others."

"Introduce them to me later. There will be 12 infantry battalions, each one with 500 soldiers, making a total of 6,000 soldiers. Of the remaining 2,000, I want to place 1,500 of them in archery units. Five units in total with 300 archers each. I know the Unsullied are not trained in archery, so I will have Qoren train those men. He's quite good."

As if hearing his own name, Qoren walked slowly to their side after getting off his horse. Seeing as the two were talking, he didn't interrupt and just listened.

Rhaenys glanced at him from the corner of her eyes then looked back at Grey Worm before continuing, "That leaves us with 500 Unsullied. 300 will be divided into 15 recognizance units, 20 soldiers in each. Not only will they be trained on scouting, but also infiltration and information gathering. Another 100 will later be placed into medic units. Ten units in total with 10 soldiers in each one. For now, they will continue their normal training. Once we are able to find a Maester or a physician, they can be taught how to heal their comrades while in the middle of battle. The last 100 will be placed beside me and Daenerys. They will be our personal guards. Their main jobs will be to ensure our supplies are safe and to guard the dragons. In case anyone tries to take them."
