(These are the clothes Rhaenys will be wearing for the next couple of chapters. Since the description is kind of hard to make, use this as a reference)

Rhaenys pressed against the black and red cloth that fell over her right shoulder to straighten it, drawing in a deep breath as she looked down to the new attire Michael had provided for her.

They had continued on their way after saying goodbye to the lion and Spider for the time being. It would probably be years before they saw each other again.

With the dangers of the outside, they had rented a room in an inn they passed by, the Targaryen making sure no one saw her or her non-human companions.

Unfortunately, to not drag suspicion they had to rent only one room and had spent the night there. It was awkward for the girl, but now it wasn't the time to bother with their arrangements with their current situation.

Moreover, their only interest was to keep her safe and right now, she needed to be surrounded with as many allies as she could since she had such powerful enemies.

She rolled her father's ring on her right ring finger a little out of nervousness, stroking the designs. Straightening it before stepping out of the room in which she was changing on and into the one Qoren and Ron were at, showing them the clothes, "So? How do I look?"

"Like a Queen and a Conqueror." grinned Ron, a map open in front of him in one of the beds.

Rhaenys went to his side, looking over the marks drawn in the map, "Where are we heading?"

"The Reach to meet with Lord Leyton Hightower. They are still remaining neutral in this war, which they have always done. Even when Aegon the Conqueror first attacked, they quickly bent the knee. However, they are one of the wealthiest families in Westeros."

The woman let out a hum as she thought, sitting beside the lord.

From her studies, she knew the Reach fought beside her father during the Rebellion and had been the ones who acquired the single victory of House Targaryen.

After her grandfather's death, they bent the knee to Robert Baratheon and that was the end of it.

But from what the little birds had informed her, the Tyrells were once interested in forming an alliance through marriage with her. Or at least, Olenna Tyrell was.

Someone who was intelligent enough to know from the very beginning that although she had nothing, Rhaenys Targaryen held more than the girl believed.

Her son on the other hand, who was the Lord of Highgarden, was an incompetent fool. A fool who had allowed his children's desires to dictate which King he would follow during the war.

One of the Hightower's daughters had married said fool but she was now deceased. Although there were still the three children she had borne.

"I know you wanted to meet with him before we left for Dorne. Though, I really cannot imagine how you're planning on convincing him to stand against the Tyrells for you." muttered the stag with a frown.
