TBP - Briffin

hearts_for_griffin requested a Briffin Fluff one-shot!

Fluff is my fav thing to write, idk if im any good at it but, in my mind, everything is so cuuuuute!

Griffin loved cuddling.

He cuddled with all his friends. They each had their own specific way of cuddling with him that he always found soothing.

Vance would act as if he hated it but he would never move him so he continued.

Finn would dote on him but Griffin didn't mind all that much.

Robin would let him lay, lean, and sleep which was very appreciated by the young boy.

Bruce would always give him a blanket or jacket and would always secure him with an arm or two, it always felt nice.

Even Gwennie cuddled with him. They would hold hands or hug during a movie. It made sense since they were both 14 years old and the youngest of the group.

Point is, Griffin was the official cuddlebug of the group! And everyone loved cuddling with him.

And yet, he has never cuddled with Billy. The ONE person he most wanted to cuddle with!

He felt like Billy was uncomfortable cuddling him so he never pushed. The most they'd done together was a few piggyback rides.

Griffin wanted more though. He'd been told many times that his cuddles cheered people up! So, he was just waiting for the perfect time to cuddle Billy.

And, lo and behold, that time finally came!

Billy had shown up to the group's treehouse completely down in the dumps. His eyes seemed pink and glossy, as if he were about to cry, and he refused to join any conversations, saying he just wanted to listen for today.

Bruce got up from his beanbag, "Who wants to go get snacks?" no one said anything, "I'm paying." nearly everyone got up.

Bruce rolled his eyes, "Golddiggers."

Griffin saw how Bily hadn't made a move, "Billy and I will stay and man the fort!" he saluted, causing everyone to laugh.

He felt Billy's eyes staring at the back of his head but chose to ignore it in favor of urging the others to leave because he was hungry.

"Bring me some chips and cookies and a whoooooole PACK of Sprite!" Griffin said, smiling like a madman.

Finney shook his head as he climbed down the ladder, "We'll get you A Sprite and SOME cookies." Griffin rolled his eyes and pouted.

"Have fun, Boys!" Bruce called out as they began walking away.

Griffin waved at them from the window with small giggles.

"Why didn't you go with them?" he turned to Billy, who was still staring at him.

Griffin smiled brightly and made his way over to the boy. He stood before him and opened his arms wide, "That way you could get a hug without them seeing! I figured you were uncomfortable with PDA around too many people." he stared into Billy's eyes with a small smile, "Come on! You could use a hug!" Griffin called out.

He stood, waiting for Billy to stand up and give him a hug willingly but, seeing that the boy didn't move, he slowly fell on top of him, earning a grunt in response.

"Griffin- get off!" Billy said with a slight chuckle.

"No!" Griffin yelled, wrapping his arms around Billy tightly and squeezing.

Both boys laughed loudly as Billy continued to squirm to free himself.

In the process, he managed to free his elbow and accidentally hit Griffin in the nose.

Everything went silent as both boys froze in shock.

Griffin blinked at Billy.

Billy blinked at Griffin.

Griffin blinked at Billy.

Billy blinked at Griffin.

Billy watched as a droplet of blood fell from his nose. The sight

Panicked, he pushed Griffin's head down and gave him his sleeve, "I'm soooooo sorry, Griffin! I didn't mean to hit you!"

Griffin laughed through the pain, "It's fine, Billy! I don't mind! I hardly felt it!"

Billy continued to profusely apologize and Griffin kept telling him it was alright.

They kept at it until the bleeding had finally stopped.

Griffin softly pulled Bilky's sleeve away and giggled, "I got blood all over your sleeve."

"Hah, it's fine. I basically broke your nose, don't worry."

Griffin pushed Billy into the beanbag before climbing on and making himself comfortable.

"Uh, Griffin?"

"Mhm?"

"What're you doing?"

"Cuddling!"

"Why?"

"Because you deserve it and I love it."

Billy let out a sigh and accepted his fate.

He, hesitantly, wrapped his arms around the young boy, feeling him relax, and smiled. Maybe cuddling with Grifin wasn't so bad.

"Why haven't you cuddled with me before? Everyone loves cuddling me!" Griffin asked.

Billy looked at him for a minute, contemplating whether or not to tell the boy the truth.

Griffin tilted his head in question and Billy decided there was nothing to lose.

He glanced away from the boy in his lap and spoke, "It's because I didn't want you finding out... about my feelings. For you." he confessed.

It took a moment for Griffin to process what was said. In the moment of processing, Billy felt as though his face was as red as a tomato. Griffin's silence was making his mind and heart run miles a minute!

He instinctively tightened his grip around the boy and hid his face in his shoulder. The action snapped Griffin from his daze.

Griffin could feel the heat radiating off of Billy, making him also feel a bit embarrassed of their position. He moved to place his hands on Billy's chest. He could feel a pen or pencil resting in his shirt pocket sticking through his jacket.

"Billy?"

Billy shook his head, "No..." he said, though it came out muffled as his face was hidden in Griffin's shoulder.

Griffin let out a huff with a smile, "Billy, hey, I like you too..." he said softly.

He felt the slight lift of Billy's head and smiled, "I've liked you for a little while now actually! That's why I wanted to cuddle you so bad!" Griffin said, trying to coax Billy out more.

Which worked. Billy lifted his head and looked into Griffin's smiling eyes.

Billy smiled and squeezed Griffin, putting his face in his shoulder again, pulling them down and back into the beanbag.

Griffin giggled and got comfortable.

The others came back to see the two wrapped in each other and sleeping.

Robin placed a blanket on them and Vance took a million pictures as blackmail.
