Chapter Ninety-Six~ Gate of Gods⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•
Almost two had passed since they had returned to the keep, with every day came the marching threat of the north.
Rhaella spent her mornings eating breakfast with young Aegon and Baela, then she spent her afternoons sitting on Aegons council."Do you think you could do something for me, please?" Baela said from across Rhaella while she spread a jam over her bread.
"Depends." Rhaella replied. "I've already got your grandfather released from his cell, and i've been spreading good spirit for your brother, which has circulated suspicion."
Baela cleared her throat. "Would my sister be able to come back to me?" She questioned. "If it's too much trouble then it's fine, I'll ask Aegon myself, it's just he seems to listen to you."
Rhaella thought about her words. "If your sister is willing to bend her knee, then I should be able to bring her here."
Baela smiled, but hid it quickly. "Thank you, Rhaena will do anything to be with her family, anything and it saddens me to be apart from her."
Rhaella missed her sister too, but she could not be with Helaena as easy as Baela could be with Rhaena.

"Your Grace." Rhaella said as she barged into the council room. "Might we have word?"
"Leave us." Aegon said to his men, thankful for the escape his sister had just given him.
"My statues are finished, you should go to see them, huge!" Aegon smiled."I will, and I thank you again. but I have a favor to ask." Rhaella replied.
"What is it?" Aegon asked.
"Don't you think it better we bring Lady Rhaena here?" Rhaella questioned. "Having all of Daemon's children here is a reflection of your winning."
"I don't care where she goes, bring her here, it matters very little." Aegon replied. "But what do I do with the boy?"
"Aegon there is no other heir the crown could go to unless you plan on crowning your daughter, which itself would reflect badly on your own rule." Rhaella sighed, taking the chair next to him.
"So I should name him?" Aegon signed, slumping back into his own. "Rhaynera's son?"
"Recognize him as Daemons son." Rhaella suggested. "Take away any record that she was crowned as queen, and refer to her as a claimant." Rhaella suggested. "Proclaim that Daemon was the rightful heir before you, meaning Aegon is now the next in line."
Aegon nodded slowly. "That could work."
"It will work, but I propose your daughter marries him." Rhaella said.
"Now you're pushing it." Aegon replied, smirk pressed to his lips.
"Maybe, but it is symbolic of the end." Rhaella replied.
"I will think on it." Aegon nodded. "Anything else?"
"Yes, the prisoner, Misery, I want her handed over to me." Rhaella said.
"Is she the one who sent the men that killed my boy?" Aegon questioned.
"Blood and Cheese, yes." Rhaella replied.
Aegon emptied his cups before scribbling down his decree and stamping his crest onto the bottom. "Here." He said handing her the scroll. "Nothing shy now, if she's not screaming or crying then you are not the woman I know." He smiled.
