After dinner and a nice shower, Makoto and Kyoko were asleep under the covers. As Makoto was sleeping peacefully, there was a loud boom. Makoto slowly opened his eyes. Another boom was heard. He jumped in fear. He checked the Weather on his phone. There was a thunderstorm. Makoto started breathing heavily. He hated thunderstorms. The loud booming of thunder and the bright flash of lightning made him shiver. He began hyperventilating and tears filled his eyes. He lied back down and wrapped his arms around Kyoko. Snuggling her from behind. He tightened the grip around her waist as he quietly sobbed onto her back. Kyoko's eyes fluttered as she woke. She heard sobbing and felt a presence behind her. She smelled a slightly strong smell of cologne. It was Makoto. She sat up and Makoto let go. She saw him with crocodile tears as he started hiccuping. "Makoto, are you alright?" She asked softly as she stroked his hair. He didn't answer, the sound of him hiccuping intensely was heard and then a loud boom. He jumped and hugged Kyoko tightly. She hugged him as she rubbed his back. "It's ok, I never knew you were astraphobic.." She said as she kissed his forehead whilst him sobbing onto her shoulder. "Shhh-Shh...It's ok, I'm here." She said gently as she rubbed his back. The quiet sobs of Makoto were making Kyoko sad as well. She doesn't like seeing or hearing Makoto sad. "It's just a little thunder..nothing to worry about." She comforted him as she kissed his head again. Makoto's sobs started to soften and get quieter. All they could hear now is the sound of him hiccuping and loud booms. Every time a boom was heard, Kyoto would kiss his head and remind him that nothing will hurt him as long as she's with him. She continued to rock him back and forth while he was clinging to her. As the rain continued to fall, there was suddenly a lightening strike out the window. Makoto squeaked as he tighten his grip. Kyoko picked his head up and gently pecked his lips. He looked at her for a good minute before he kissed her forcefully, making her fall backwards. Makoto straightened out his legs as he adjusted his body so he could be more comfortable. The kiss was quite intense as Makoto lightly bit her bottom lip. Then the door swung open. Makoto froze in place. "Woah! My bad I hope I didn't interrupt anything.." Komaru said as she looked slightly traumatized. "Nevermind I'll go, and Makoto don't get her pregnant please." Komaru said as she closed the door. She opened it again. "And make sure you lock it." She said quickly before closing it shut. Makoto sighed and looked at Kyoko who wasn't fazed much. "Sorry about that, there's rarely any privacy in the Naegi Residence." He chuckled quietly. "It's alright. I don't mind." Kyoko said as she nuzzled his cheek. He then buried his head under her head. They stayed like that for about 5 minutes.

"Kyokoooooooo.." He groaned quietly. "Yes, Makoto?" She replied as she smiled and stroked his hair.

"I'm hungryyyyy..and I don't wanna go down the stairs by myself." He pouted. "I'll go with you then.." She said. He got up from on top of her and slowly walked towards the door. She sighed playfully and opened the door while he followed behind. As they went down the stairs and into the kitchen, Makoto began cooking whilst Kyoko was making their coffee. She liked Civet Coffee but, it didn't seem like they had any so she got plain coffee instead. She made Makoto's coffee special and sweet. 10 plumps of vanilla cream, 4 small cups of milk, 2 small cups of sugar then stirred it. She then sprayed some whipped cream on top with chocolate drizzle. She sat the coffee on the table and Makoto's eyes widened at such a sight. The coffee looked like it came from StarBucks than homemade.

"You did amazing, baby." Makoto said as he hugged her from behind. "Why, thank you, dear. But, who's cooking the miso soup and rice?" She asked as she smirked. "Shit!" He swear as he ran towards the stove to check on the food. Kyoko giggled quietly at his clumsy actions.

Komaru, Makoto's sister, came walking down the stairs but, stopped in her tracks. She sniffed the air quietly. She then jumped over the stairs railing and ran towards her brother. "Making breakfast without your little sister? Disrespectful!" She huffed. "I'm still trying to process what happened between you and the stair railing.." Makoto said as he looked petrified.

"What? Parkour keeps me young!" She said gleefully. "Your still young though." He said as he smirked.

"I'm only a year younger than you!" She pouted as she pulled out her phone. "Your lucky to have a sibling. I lost mine." Kyoko said as she placed her hand on Komaru's head. Komaru beamed at Kyoko. "How?" Makoto asked as he cooked. "I don't really want to talk about it here but, maybe later." She replied. Makoto nodded. "Well it's quite annoying to have a younger sibling." Makoto squinted his eyes at Komaru. "It's annoying to have a older sibling!" She raised her voice. Makoto rolled his eyes. "Kiri!! Makoto's being meannnnn!!" Komaru whined. "Cmon Makoto, she's your little sister." Kyoko smiled sweetly.

"Really? Your taking her side?" Makoto scoffed playfully. "Remember that time you knocked the vase over and blamed it on me?" Makoto said. "Remember that time you wet th-" "Calm down, Calm down, you don't want your parents coming in here." Kyoko said as she stopped them from arguing. "Hmph!" Komaru pouted as she went back up the stairs. "Komaru, I'll bring your food to your room." Kyoko said as she walked towards Makoto. "Thanks Kiri!" Komaru said as she closed her door. "You ok?" Kyoko said as she kissed his cheek. "I'm fine." He smiled. "I like your smile, it's adorable."

She said as she ruffled his hair. "No, your smile is adorable." Makoto said. He placed the breakfast on 3 plates.

There was a large potion of food left which was for his parents since they didn't wake up just yet. Makoto placed the 2 plates and bowls on the table and gave Kyoko another plate with a bowl onto. Kyoko walked up the stairs and looked around. She didn't know where Komaru's room was. Komaru slid a paper undone her door. It had an arrow pointing towards the door and saying "Komaru". Kyoko knocked on the door just to make sure she doesn't walk in on anything. "Come in." Komaru said. Kyoko slowly opened the door, shyly. Komaru's room wasn't that messy, just a few clothes here and there. Her room was a light green color similar to Makoto's room. "Here's your food." Kyoko handed it to her. "Thanks, Kiri!" She thanked Kyoko. "My pleasure." Kyoko replied as she closed the door. As she turned around she saw Makoto's father standing there. Kyoko stood in placed as she looked up to see that he was tall. "What were you doing?" He asked. "I was delivering Komaru's food." She replied shyly. "Oh, haha! Alright then." He said then walking into the public bathroom. Kyoko sighed and walked back down the stairs. Makoto sat there on his phone as he waited. Kyoko came and sat at the table. As Kyoko began eating Makoto did too. Soon after, Miori Naegi came walking down the stairs. "Something smells good!" Miori said as she pecked Makoto's cheek. He giggled quietly. "Miso Soup and rice? I taught you way to well, Makoto." She scoffed playfully as she got a serving. "I tried! Thanks to you I can breakfast, all. By. My. Self." Makoto said proudly as he took a sip of the soup. Miori smiled as she walked out the kitchen. "I suppose you get the cheerful attitude from your mother?" Kyoko asked as she smiled at him. "Yep! That's just how us Naegi's are!" He said.
