"Kiri!!" Aoi exclaimed as she sprinted towards Kyoko before tackling her to the ground. Kyoko's book went flying and fell down the stairs. Just as Aoi sat up, she found that she was sitting on her lap and an angry Kyoko huffed in her face. "Hi Kiri." Aoi smiled innocently. "Hello, Hina." Kyoko sighed. "Guess what!" Aoi said practically squealing in her face. "What now?" Kyoko asked as she held her head in slight annoyance. "The school dance is today!! And I'm helping you get dressed! Me, Sakura and Junko!" Aoi got up and held out a hand for Kyoko. "I suppose it isn't a bad idea. Fine, I'll come." Kyoko grabbed her hand and pulled herself up. Aoi hopped up and down in joy and excitement. "Thanks Kiri! Love you, byeeeee!!"

Aoi ran off whilst waving. Kyoko shook her head and simply walked off to go get her book that fell down the stairs. "Ah, Kirigiri. Just the person I wanted to see. Do you know who's book this is?" Celeste asked of Kyoko. "It's mine, thank you." Kyoko took the book from Celeste's hands. "Your very welcome, Kirigiri." Celeste smiled with her hands in front of her, entwined together. Kyoko nodded and walked down the stairs. Kyoko walked through the halls while her book lose to her chest.

She was looking forward to finding Makoto since he was no where to be seen. Just as she walked passed the nurses office Makoto walked out of there with a bandage on his forehead but, it wasn't visible because of his head full of hair. She looked behind her to see the brunette hold his forehead in relief. "Makoto." She quietly called his name. "Kyoko! Hiiii!" He greeted her baby-ishly. He gave her the most biggest smile ever as he hugged her. She shyly hugged him back. Just as he pulled away, she swatted at his arm with her back hand. "Ow!" He exclaimed.

"That was for not letting me know where you were. Why were you in the nurses office?" She asked in a slightly sassy tone as she placed one of her hands on her hips. "I tripped on my shoelace and fell down the stairs, when that happened I also scarred my forehead." Makoto lifted some of his hair and the bandage was now visible. "Makoto, you imbecile, you were supposed to tie your shoelaces before you came to school." Kyoko snapped. She must've had an attitude because Makoto worried the shit out of her and he was in the Nurses Office because of his stupidity. "I know.." Makoto looked down in shame of himself.

"But anyway, You going to the school dance?" Makoto looked back up, facing Kyoko. "Yes." She answered. "Great! I can take you then!" Makoto beamed. Kyoko rolled her eyes playfully. "Alright, I've got some homework to do. I'll call you when I'm done, okay?" Kyoko said as she stroked his hair. "Ok!" Makoto replied cheerfully. "Love you." Kyoko kissed Makoto's cheek. "Love you more!" Makoto blushed as he had the widest smile on his face.

Sometimes Makoto just smiles over the littlest things, people would say. Makoto couldn't care less about what people said. He felt like the luckiest person ever to date The Ultimate Detective. The Kirigiri Kyoko. Possibly most intelligent being in Tokyo, Japan. As he skipped along the halls, one foot before another, he was exiting the school to see his mother and father. He slid down the railing of the stairs and hopped in his car and happily drove off.

{Time skip}

Makoto parked in the drive way of his parents house as he exited his car and closed his car door with his butt. He knocked on the door and his mother opened it. "Koto!" Mioki exclaimed with open arms. "Hey Okasan!" Makoto hugged her. Komaru was seen jumping off the stairs and hugged Makoto as well. "Hey Komaru!" Makoto ruffled his little sisters hair. In the back, Kyutai waved. Kaikhan was tied to the kitchen table leg. Her pointy ears perked up at the sound of Makoto's voice. She lifted her head and her little claws started to tap on the tiled kitchen floor.

She was panting as she yipped at Makoto. "Hey Kaikhan!" Makoto knelt down to her. Kaikhan ran up to him as she jumped up and down licking his face mercilessly. "She was whining all day and night because you weren't here. It's starting to become a problem and now I'm concerned she has separation anxiety." Kyutai commented as he focused on his game. "Godammit!" He yelled as he punched the couch.
