Kyoko was showering in Makoto's bathroom this morning while he's playing The Sims 4. As he played he smelled the amazing scent of Dove Body Wash coming from his bathroom, though Kyoko was showering so what else would she use? "Rui, baka! Your supposed to go there, not outside. Dumbass.." Makoto swore under his breath as he insulted one of his male sims.

He heard the shower go off, a signal that Kyoko will be coming out. He isn't the type of boyfriend who would have a desire to see their significant other nudity. He is too innocent for any of that so he knocked on the bathroom door. "Yes?" Kyoko answered. "If your gonna change in my room, I could get out if you'd like." He replied. "Thank you." She thanked him.

He paused his game and placed the Xbox controlled on the his aesthetic green bed covering before taking his phone off the charger and trotting downstairs. He sat in the living room where his mom was watching a romantic tv series. He hugged his mother as she jumped in surprise before hugging him back and kissing his forehead. "I'm proud of you, Naegi Makoto." She said joyfully calm. "Thanks, Okasan." He beamed sweetly. As they began to watch the show together, Makoto heard a notification from his phone. It was Kyoko, wanting him to come in his room to talk? He got up from the couch and walked upstairs. He knocked twice. "Come in" She answered from the other side. Makoto walked in to see her in her original clothing. "I'm going to the station today." She said quietly.

"Kyoko..y-you can't!" He stuttered. "Why not?" She asked. "Because your dad said so remember?" He asked. "I don't care what he said." She said packing a notepad and pen in a briefcase. "Kyoko.." No answer. "Kirigiri Kyoko!" She turned around looking quite surprised by him raising his voice at her. "You can't! You have to listen to him or something bad might happen!" He exclaimed. "...You listen to everything he says don't you?" Kyoko asked quietly. "W-What?" "You don't understand. You don't know what he has done to me, he abandoned me and now he holds me hostage at a school when I'm trying to do what I need to do to live up to the Kirigiri name!" She raised her voice. Though, her voice was a little hushed like usual. Makoto backed away. "Kyoko-" "It's fine, he's not part of the family any longer. He isn't fit to be a Kirigiri anyways." She huffed annoyingly. "I'm going to that station and don't follow me." She looked upset and misunderstood. Makoto felt horrible and tried to hug her as he wrapped his arms around her before she pushed him away from her. She walked out the house and closed the door. Makoto stood there, miserably. Was he being controlling? Bossy? Or was she just plain stubborn? He sighed and walked back into his room. He closed the door and locked it before crawling into bed where Kyoko slept. He held the pillow close to his head as he smelled the scent of Lavender Shampoo. He curled his legs up to his chest as he gripped the pillow. He tried to think about things other than Kyoko but, she continued to linger in his mind about what she said. "You don't understand.." He sighed in defeat and decided to call Aoi. He picked up his phone though, Makoto had a picture of him kissing Kyoko's cheek as a wallpaper so he could see her 'every day'. He gulped some saliva down his throat before entering his password and calling Asahina.

"Hey Eggs! I haven't seen you in a while now!" Aoi answered. "Hey Aoi." Makoto replied, he sounded exhausted and much more breathy. "You ok? You sound a little under the weather." She asked. "I'm not sick I'm just...disappointed in myself." He sound flopping back down onto the pillow. "What happened?" She asked again. Eager to help him out. "Me and Kyoko got into an argument today and I just wanted to be comforted by someone. That's not outside my door at the moment." He said as he sighed. "It'll be alright plus, she is your best friend!" She exclaimed. "Girlfriend." He corrected her politely. "Huh?! Your dating the Kirigiri Kyoko?! O-M-G! Do I tell anyone?" She asked.

"Not right now. I'll have to ask.." He said feeling a bit better. "I just can't believe you 2 started dating!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!" She squealed. Makoto rolled his eyes playfully. "How long?" She calmed down. "About 4 days?" He said questioningly. "Oh and um sorry to mention but, after Kiri dumped Togami, he's been furious! He insults literally every person he sees! I swear I just wanna-I just wanna shove one of my donuts down his throat and-" "Aoi! C-Chill out..your scaring me.." Makoto frowned. "My bad! Didn't mean to scare you, Eggs! But anyway, he is literally gonna blow if he doesn't see Kirigiri. He says that he needs to speak with her." Aoi said worried. "She's a bit upset but, she might talk." Makoto replied. "You sure? This is Togami and Kirigiri we're talking about." Aoi said trying to make sure that Makoto is alright. "Yea, Kyoko can protect herself if anything happens." He said as he sighed. "Alright then! Me and Sakura are gonna go and get some donuts together!" She said excitedly. "So your dating Sakura?~" Makoto smirked. "Shut it Eggboi >:C" She said. "Anyway, see ya!" She said. "Later." He replied as she hung up. Makoto stared blankly at his ceiling.

As he lied there and thought, he couldn't stop thinking of Kyoko. He opened his camera and looked through his pictures that included Kyoko in them. There weren't many of them but, he examined all of them. He curved his little baby lips into a gentle smile.

{Kyoko POV}

"That means that Takani Yuitsu is guilty, due to Kirigiri's investigation. And since you have committed arson and homicide, you have a 19 year life sentence." The judge said. As the culprit was carried away by officers, I sighed and straightened my blazer before the judge walked towards me. "Glad to have you back, Kirigiri." The judge said gleefully but, not smiling. I nodded and walked away, out of the courtroom. That trial was longer than I expected. 4 hours? Normally it would be 2 hours. I walked towards the police car and got in to wait for the officer. He, as well, came out. As he approached the car, I waved. He waved back and opened the door. "That trial wasn't what I expected." He said, trying to start a conversation. "Indeed, the culprit was quite...Aggressive." I said trying to find a formal and polite way to say something. As he drove I got a text from Asahina about a few hours ago. I did put my phone on DND so thats why I didn't answer.

I tapped the notification and saw that my needed my Face ID. I showed my face and it called her. "Hey Kiri!" Asahina said through the phone. "Hey you called me. Need something?" I replied. "Yea um, Togami wanted to speak to you so do you mind heading to Hopes Peak? Sorry, I know it's weekend and all." She said and a worried tone that I would be upset. "No it's alright. I'll go." I said calmly. "Oh! And what's going on between you and Eggs?" She said. Who's 'Eggs'? "Eggs?" "Naegi." "Oh." "He called me saying that he wanted some company." "Asahina, whatever goes on in his house, stays in his house." "Aww..welp anyway, see ya!" "Bye." I hung up. What could Togami want anyway? "What was that about?" The officer asked curiously. He doesn't need to know my personal business. "Nothing, destination is Hope's Peak Academy." I said. He nodded and made a left.
Just as we arrived I gave him a few pictures. "Take these to court, I'll be there tomorrow." I said before getting out of the car and walking towards Hope's Peak. I walked through the doors and swiftly walked down the corridors to find Togami's dormitory. I knocked. He opened it. "Kirigiri, please come in." He said as he widened his door. I walked in and turned around. "What's the meaning of my summoning?" I asked. "Well..I needed your help." He said. Togami needed my help? "Why?" I asked crossing my arms. "My father wants me to have a significant other." He said calmly. "Togami you know I'm with Naegi. I apologize but I can't." I said. "I'll pay you 100,000 in cash." He sounded confident when he said that. "Togami, you should know better than to ask me this, let alone think that I would agree and play your childish games. I'm leaving." I said as I began to approach the door until someone grabbed my arm. "If you won't do that than at least come to my Family's reunion? They'd like to meet a detective." He sounded calm but, I knew he was desperate.
I sighed of defeat. "Fine. But, if I get uncomfortable I'm leaving. Don't thank me." I said as I walked out the door. Why did I say yessssss??? I guess they can meet me. They probably need me or something because if not than I'm leaving and doing another investigation.
