•A Little Bit At A Time•

Makoto's washed out hazel eyes fluttered as he began to wake up. He lifted his head and lightly rubbed his eyes before looking beside him to see Kirigiri there. She was still asleep although, she was turned the other way, not facing him. Makoto lifted his arms and stretched before getting out of bed and wondering into his bathroom. He used the toilet, washed his hands, and came out. He searched through his drawers to find some clothing. A green hoodie with ripped light-colored jeans. He shrugged and grabbed some socks before walking back into the bathroom to take a quick shower. The scent of Dove Body Wash filled the Bathroom as he showered. He then came out after 10 minutes, wishing he could shower longer. He slid into the jeans and flipped the sweater over his head before sliding his arms in. He then took out his tooth brush and tooth paste to brush his teeth and then he got his brush to brush his hair, can't forget about his ahoge.
He also got out some cologne and sprayed it on him before looking at his baby face in the mirror.

He exited the bathroom to see Kyoko gone. 'Where did she go? That was fast as hell.' He thought as he raised his brow. He blinked a few times before turning around and seeing Kyoko fully dressed. "AHH!! Shit! You s-scared me!" He whimpered. "Apologies, I came from the other bathroom." Kyoko said calmly. "It's ok.." Makoto said as he picked himself up. "Ready to go? I made some coffee downstairs." She asking him as she crossed her arms in a more relaxed position. "Yea, oh and one more thing." Makoto said as Kyoko turned to him. "I'm sorry about yesterday..I'm stupid for saying all that.." Makoto said as he held his hands in front of him in a guilty manner.

"It's alright. Although, I can't stay mad at you. This child-ish face of ours is very adorable." She caressed his cheek. He smiled. "Is it baby fat?" Kyoko asked him. "Yea, I guess it never wanted to leave my body." Makoto chuckled. Kyoko hugged him tightly. The scent of soap lingered his figure as she hugged him. She then pulled away and pecked his lips before opening his door and going downstairs. Makoto beamed and followed her. Kyoko handed him some coffee before walking out the door. Makoto sipped some of the coffee before following her and locking the door behind them. "Oh what about your dog?" Kyoko asked. "Kaikhan? Oh, my parents will care for her while I'm away. I'll ask Principal Kirigiri if I can bring her to school to live in my dorm." Makoto said as he entered his car. "Alright then." She said quietly.

As they drove to school, it was silence. There wasn't much to talk about so Kyoko thought to bring up a conversation. "..Do you still miss your late pet, Tankiro?" Kyoko asked him. Makoto sighed. "Everyday. Tankiro was amazing. She was our first pet when I was 4 and Komaru was 3. She was just a puppy, and as she grew, me and Komaru were always by her side. Her favorite was Komaru though. Probably cause Komaru was quite energetic. Tankiro was one of those really happy puppies. One of her quirks where wiggling her whole body when she wagged her tail." Makoto chuckled at the last sentence. "It's really sad to have someone and then lose them after years of bonding." Makoto sounding really upset and depressed. Kyoko rubbed his back. "I've never had a pet before, your lucky to have a little buddy with you." Kyoko said as she smiled. "Thanks, Kyoko." Makoto said calmly as he smiled back. "Raising Kaikhan is probably gonna be a mess though. Shiba's scream! Really loud! Their like a cat in a dogs body!" Makoto exclaimed. Kyoko quietly giggled. "Their kinda like Husky's but, a little quieter. Husky's are talkative. Both breeds scream though." Makoto explained to Kyoko as she listened. "You know alot about dogs, don't you?" Kyoko asked as she smirked. "I'm a bit of a dog lover." Makoto rubbed the back of his neck. "That's what I love about you, your a very caring person." She flirted. "K-Kyoko.." Makoto said her name obviously embarrassed. "Don't be shy, Makoto." Kyoko kissed his cheek. His cheeks turned bright red.

As they arrived, Makoto and Kyoko entered the classroom holding hands. Aoi jumped up and sprinted to them. "KIRI!!" Aoi squealed. She jumped Kyoko. "Good Morning, Hina." Kyoko patted her back. "Makoto here told me that you 2 little Lovey Dovey's were dating!~" Aoi said in a sing-sing manner. "It's true." Kyoko said calmly. "I'm happy for you, Kirigiri." Celeste said quietly. Though, Celeste did have romantic feelings for Kyoko until she started dating Makoto. "Thank you, Celeste." Kyoko thanked her. Celeste nodded. "Hey Dudes!" Yasuhiro came and blurted out. "Oh my god it's the WEED MAN!!" Aoi pointed. "Shut it, woman! I don't smoke!" Yasuhiro crossed his arms. "Drugs?" Aoi asked suspiciously. "Nuh-uh." Yasuhiro answered. "Do you do crack?" Aoi asked him again. "What even is that?!" Yasuhiro yelled. "He's a retard, ignore him." Aoi said as a scoffed. "Wha!?-" "Anyway! I'm so happy for you 2!" Aoi chirped. "Thanks Hina-"
