Lavender Lilacs {Naegiri}

On a cloudy evening in Tokyo, Japan, Naegi Makoto was sitting on a bench eating a Wapaku Sandwich next to a glorious pond with plants and flowers of sorts, it was after school of course. It was peaceful and quiet as the breeze and his breathing were only heard. The grass was healthy and the pond was clear blue. Butterflies arrived to collect nectar from the flowers that allured. Makoto stool his right index finger out as a monarch butterfly came to hold on to his finger. He mumbled a soft 'hello there' as he softly smiled.

The butterflies wings fluttered as it flew away to collect nectar with its friends. He sipped some of the cold green tea from the straw in his cup. He then heard footsteps approaching. He looked to his right to see a tall, lean, and pale looking boy with sickly pale hair that faded to a brown color. His eyes were pale green, quite similar to Makoto's though his were a washed out hazel.

"Ah, Hello!" The boy greeted. His voice was raspy and very breathy as it seems. "Hi!" Makoto greeted him back. "It's quite peaceful huh? Sorry I had to ruin it.." He looked down in disappointment and disgust of himself. "You didn't ruin it! I don't mind anyone sitting next to me." Makoto beamed. Something about his sweet innocent smile made the taller boy smile as well. "You must be that kid who get accepted in Hope's Peak, right?" He tilted his head. "Yea, they now called me the 'Ultimate Lucky Student' it sucks to be honest." Makoto's smiled faded away. "So then you must be Naegi Makoto! It's such a pleasure to meet you!" The taller boy aggressively shook Makoto's hand. "Sorry about that, I'm just really excited to be meeting someone from Hope's Peak!" He exclaimed.

"I'm Komaeda Nagito, I hope we can become the best of friends, Naegi!" Nagito said sweetly.

"I hope that too!" Makoto's smile widened. "I like your smile, brings a lot of hope in the atmosphere." Nagito said quietly. "Oh, thank you!" Makoto's face had a tint of red. Nagito chuckled, he lightly wheezed as well. "So, what's up about hope that you love so much?" Makoto asked politely. "Well, hope is everything to me! It's so addictive and useful in life! Hope is so majestic and distinguishable, hope is something everyone needs when in despair. Oh, the envy!~" Nagito said as he hugged himself. "And one day.." He held Makoto's hands. "I will be the Ultimate Hope like you!" Nagito beamed. "Ultimate Hope?"

Makoto asked as he smiled back. "Everyone in Hope's Peak is special and hopeful." Nagito shrugged. They both chuckled. "Your hands are soft.." Nagito commented as Makoto chuckled embarrassingly. "Komaeda I've been searching for you everywhere!" A voice said. "Hinata! Look, it's THE Naegi Makoto!" Komaeda exclaimed as he hugged Makoto. "H-Hey!" Makoto greeted nervously. "Hinata Hajime." Hajime bowed.

"Pleased to your acquaintance!" Makoto bowed as well. "Sorry about him, he was wondering off." Hajime mentioned Nagito. "It's alright, I don't mind at all!" Makoto smiled.

"You find Komaeda yet?" A soft and quite voice from Hinata's Apple Watch asked.

"Yea, we'll be there in a few." Hajime replied. "Oh, Hinata, worrying about little ol' me?" Komaeda smiled as he held his hands in front of him as his fingers entwined. "Be quiet.." Hajime grimaced. "Well, I guess this is goodbye. I'll see you around maybe?" Komaeda cupped Makoto's little baby face in his hands. "Sure!" Makoto replied. Nagito's face got closer to Makoto's as he leaned in.

Hajime grabbed Nagito by his jacket and walked away. "Bye!" Nagito waved as he beamed. Makoto waved back.

~Hours Later~

Naegi was playing GTA with his little sister Komaru. He was currently blowing up the city with her as they ran from the cops. Soon after, his phone ringed. He checked the ID and then answered. "Hey! You coming over?" Makoto asked on the phone. "Oh...that's fine! I'd love to either way!" He chirped. "Love you too! Bye!" Makoto hung up and walked out his room. He went down the stairs to meet his mother watching his father play on his PS5. "Hey Okasan?" Makoto called her. She looked in his direction. "Need something, Koto?" She asked as she tilted her head. "Do we have any boiled eggs in the refrigerator?" He asked politely. "Of course! Their on the second self." She gave him directions. "K, thanks!" He thanked her as he walked towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, only to be startled by Komaru of course. "AHH!! The hell is wrong with you?" Makoto said as he was trying to relax after being surprised.
