Story Unfolds :
Amba was engrossed in meditation since the beginning. She, being an intelligent girl and avid reader, learnt everything about the famous ritual of pleasing Lord Shiva. She was now searching for Gangajal to give the holy water upon the "Shiva Ling". She had enough Bel leaves to please the Lord. In these seven months she had not been sleeping an hour and was thinking constantly of her pain and suffering. Her agony, humiliation in royal court of Hastinapur and curt refusal of Bhism to marry her made her blood boiling inside. She became more restless day by day. More stoic. More hateful inside. Her revenge was still unfulfilled. Unduly unfulfilled. She rejected every luxury of life. She neither wore ornaments nor put on makeup like other girls. She did not comb her long wavy hair. She had no passion remain for the world. She had only one wish in mind -
DEATH of BHISM
One day when she went near the river Ganges and bent down to touch the water in her both hands, a miracle started to happen. A mesmerizingly beautiful lady was emerging from the water. Drop by drop she was taking shape. Amba realized her identity. She was none other than Devi Ganga herself.
She folded her palms in respect mode before Ganga who was now standing tall with stony look in her face. She looked very young.
"Pranipat, Mate ( I am bowing to you, mother)." Amba respectfully replied her.
Devi Ganga (mother of Bhism)
"Don't you dare me call mother." Raged Ganga's first blow.
"Why not?!! Are not you mother of all human beings?!!" Amba asked her in shock.
"For others, yes. For you, no. Never. You hurt my son. I hate you for that." Ganga answered rudely.
Amba looked pissed off. She was not in quarreling mood today. She was bringing water for Lord Shiva. Why on the earth she wanted to start to argue with an agitated mother?!! By the way, she also most surprisingly felt sorry for her opponent. She could understand the pain in a mother's heart. No mother could forgive the person who wanted to assult or harm her children. And it was true that Bhism was her only living son in this world. Why should not she be angry on Amba?!!
