Story Unfolds :

"I will not stay alive anymore. My work in this life is completed. I will wait for you in the next life, Bhism."

She yelled aloud in extreme anger and disdain before entering into the pyre made by herself.

She tiptoed out of her grandfather's Ashram at the next day at the time of midnight. Her grandfather was very happy because he received the news of her father Kashya Ambikesh's sudden visit. He did not guessed that his son was visiting not him, but his daughter. But his grand-daughter Amba assumed the inner reason quite correctly. She truly wanted to meet with her father and have his blessings before embarking on a new journey. But she knew it perfectly well that her royal father would never permit her to end her life so soon. After the most untimely demise of her mother, this father-daughter duo got inseparable. He would cry at every single scratch on her body. How could he tolerate to see her burning alive?!!!!

She tiptoed out of the Ashram and came to a secluded open place which she discovered some time before. This was the same holy place that she had chosen before to call for her deity, Lord Shiva. She had assembled tree truck, broken leaves beforehand.

She came there without any kind of hindrance and jotted down the logs one after another. Within around 30 to 45 mins and with much effort she made a wooden pyre for herself and put on the fire on it. Then with a very satisfied grin on her own pretty face she sat down on it.

Her hair was still open and her locks got easily on fire

Her hair was still open and her locks got easily on fire. The smell of burning flesh and hair came in her nose. She closed her eyes tightly. She felt so very relaxed and relieved from inside. At last her lifelong agony was going to be ended now.

Her red Saree was catching on fire too. She wore the same Saree which she wore on those two days of her humiliation. Once at the day of her Swayambar when she was abducted forcefully by Bhism. And twice, when in the royal court of Hastinapur she was taunted, teased, humiliated and then threw out of the room. The end of her Saree which tore up at the time when she was searching fanatically for Bhagwan Parashuram, caught in fire and was burning in great speed. She did not stir a bit. She did not want to. She wanted to embrace her death with grace and elegance.

Her feet started to burn down and the smell of burning fresh flesh came into her nose. Once again. Her legs, ankles, thighs, toes, arms, torso, hair all one by one was staring to burn. She felt great pain (it was natural as she was burning alive) but somewhat it was in lesser amount than she had already tolerated before. In the royal Courts of Kashi and Hastinapur. Amba had suffered much more agony than this. It was like her ultimate destiny. Her peace of mind. Her only solace. She was restful today. Unlike her arch rival.
