"How's the song going?" PDogg asked as soon as he got inside my studio.

I decided to swing by before I go to the hospital. I told Iseul I'll be there even though I'm not needed. I don't know...even if I'm not the child's father, I feel compelled to be present.

"Almost done with the bridge. I'm positive it'll be ready by the end of the week." I answered, giving him an OK sign.

"You've been working on that even before you entered the military." He teased me.

"Hey! This one song only. The other songs in the album were already done." I defended myself. It's true. I started this particular song while I was going through some stuff after Iseul broke up with me.

It was only an idea at first but the lyrics came piece by piece in given moments and they got so piled up they begged to be strung together.

"Yes. And that song is the only thing that's keeping you from releasing the album." He pointed out.

"Don't pressure me. I have it under control." I winked at him and stood up. "I'm going..."

"You're in a good mood..." He looked at me suspiciously. I walked toward the door and he followed behind me. "Are you in love?"

"I was never out of love since the day I fell in love..." I answered in a sing-song voice and waved him goodbye before I run for the elevator.

"Hey! You have to record later!" He shouted. I only raised my hand to acknowledge and went inside the elevator. I grinned at him before I shut the elevator door closed. I saw him shaking his head through the tiny gap in the door.

I hurriedly went to my car and zoomed out of the building. I'm not sure what I should bring so I called Iseul.

"Good morning, Iseul! Did you have breakfast already?" I asked as soon as she answered.

"Good morning, Kook." She said in a soft voice. It reminded me of the mornings we spent together. "We already ate. How about you?"

"I had a sandwich earlier," I replied. "I'm on my way there. Do you need something?"

"Hmm, you don't have to, Jungkook." She reminded me.

"I told you, I'll be there. You can't stop me. I'm already near." I told her firmly. I heard her sigh.

"Fine. Fine. And no, we're good here. Just waiting for the doctor." She replied.

"Alright, see you. And Iseul, try to relax. It's going to be okay." I said, trying to comfort her.

"I'll try. Thank you..." She said before ending the call. I smiled to myself, pleased that I will see her again.

I arrived at the hospital in no time. I went straight to Da-eun's room and saw that the doctors were already inside. I quietly opened the door and slipped inside without bothering anyone.
