"Are you ready to go?"
I looked up and saw Jungkook standing by the door of his bedroom. I sighed and pushed myself up. I just finished checking my luggage as we're about to head out and go to the airport. We will meet Raon there.
"I guess so..." I answered, forcing a smile which he returned. It looked more like a grimace though.
He walked toward me and took me in his arms. "Penny for your thoughts?"
"I just..." I sighed and hugged him tighter. "I'm going to miss you."
"Me, too, babe. Me too." He said quietly and kissed me on the head. "If only you don't have to go."
"I know..." I looked up and tiptoed so our faces will be leveled. "Behave here, okay?"
"What do you mean 'behave'?" He scoffed and pulled me closer and I felt myself almost floating. "Iseul, you don't have to worry, okay? I'll be counting down the days 'till I see you again. I don't think there'll be space in my brain to think about anything else."
"I'm just reminding you..." I pouted my lips which he quickly pecked.
"I'm also reminding you now..." I met his eyes with my furrowed brows. "Don't get too close to Seojun."
"What?" I blurted out with a chuckle. "Babe!"
"I'm serious, Iseul." He said firmly that I stopped laughing at once.
"He's my boss, Jungkook. I'm going to meet him a lot of times. There'll be instances when I will be sharing meals with him during meetings. Or meet outside for work. So I can't do what you're telling me."
"I know, Iseul. I know you'll work with him. What I mean is---" I didn't let him finish his sentence and kissed him.
"You also don't have to worry about what you're thinking of, Kook. We've been friends for years and I didn't fall for him or anything. Nothing will happen now, more than ever, now that we're together. So ease your mind, babe. No one can replace you." I smiled at him and waited for his reaction.
He was just staring at me so I don't know what he's thinking. Then his lips broke into a smile. His bunny smile.
"I know. I'm your one and only. No one's greater than me." He said confidently that I can't help but laugh.
"Right." I squinted my eyes at him and pulled away. "Shouldn't we go now? I might be late."
"That's the plan." He chuckled and I had to slap his arm playfully. "Alright, let's go!"

"Babe, my other things will be delivered to your house tomorrow, okay? I already asked Sungmi to oversee the transfer so you don't have to do anything." I told Jungkook on our way to the airport.
