I couldn't wrap around my head the things that were happening. First, Da-eun's hospitalization. Now, Raon's disappearance. God, why?

I let the warm water fall down on my body. If only I were not so worried, I would stay in the shower longer. But my mind can't shut up. I turned off the shower and went out. I quickly dried myself and put on comfy pajamas. I put away the towel and went out of my room with a brush and began combing my still-wet hair.

Then I went to the next room. I sighed as I watch a sleeping Da-eun. I feel sorry for her. She's not aware of what's going on around her. I also looked at Sungmi's sleeping figure. I had to force her to rest. She's been agitated since we saw the news. I shut my eyes tight and made a silent plea. Raon, please show up.

I slowly went out of the room and quietly shut the door. When I turned around I saw Jungkook coming in from the balcony. I forgot that he was still here.

"Hey...is Da-eun sleeping already?" He asked while approaching me. I met him in the middle of the living room.

"Yeah. Are you done talking to Soohee unnie?" I asked. We've been in contact with her since we learned about the earthquake. I'm so grateful to her.  And of course, to Jungkook.

"Yes, I am. She already let the President know about the earthquake. I also gave her the flight details you have. The government's working on reaching out to the Moroccan embassy. She said it's tough now because of the power outage but they'll keep on trying." He quietly replied.

I put down my brush on the table. I put my hands over my face and nodded. "Thanks, Kook. I don't know what I will do if you weren't here."

He pulled me into his arms and embraced me. If under different circumstances, I would have pushed him but tonight I just feel grateful to him. I'm also feeling weary. Despite whatever happened between us, I can't deny I still find comfort in him.

"No need to thank me, Iseul. I'll always be here for you." He gently said, stroking my back. I let my hands fall on my side and he hugged me tighter. "I know it's hard not to worry but try to calm your mind. I have a great feeling that Raon is just fine wherever she is."

"I truly hope that you are right, Kook. I don't know what to do if...Gosh, I couldn't even say it!" I said in anguished voice. I gently pulled away from him but he put his hands on my waist so our bodies were still attached.

"Don't put negative things in your head, Iseul. Raon is alive and she'll come home soon." He told me, his eyes assuring me.

"She better damn go home!" I hissed and shook my head. "Anyway, were you also able to find anything about Jae? Raon said he's gonna wait for her in the airport."

"Do-yun and Ha-da were able to get ahold of Jae's parents. Good thing he was able to share his flight details to them. It's the same as Raon's. He also mentioned the hotel that he stayed in. I gave all this information to the man from the President's office." He told me.
