"Does Tae oppa know Da-eun's doctor?" I asked Jungkook as we watched Taehyung oppa run after the doctor.
"I'm not sure. Maybe she's the one he's been looking for." He answered. I was confused by what he said but I didn't ask further. I heard him sigh before turning to me. "How's Da-eun? Do you have the results?"
"Not yet. The lady doctor, Dr. Han, said they'll talk to us tomorrow." I answered as I walked toward Da-eun who was now busy playing with her toys.
"Kei-kei!" Da-eun pointed at Jungkook, laughing.
"Hello, Da-eun! Are you feeling okay today?" He approached her and held her hand. I moved a bit so I could give him space.
"She's a lot more energetic today. I think she knows she's done with her tests." Sungmi chuckled and then looked at Jungkook. "Hmmm, you're here again. Who are you visiting? Da-eun or Iseul?"
"Sungmi!" My eyes widened at her but she ignored me and continued laughing.
"Errr, both?" Jungkook smirked while playing with Da-eun. He's now sitting on the hospital bed so I backed away and sat on the chair near them.
"I watched videos of you and your group. Just out of curiosity. Iseul is not joking when she said you're the best! You've gained a fan." Sungmi continued. She scoffed when she saw me glaring at her.
"Thanks, Sungmi. Although we haven't done anything new yet since we just got discharged from the military." Jungkook said who has Da-eun sitting on his lap now. The little girl was giggling nonstop and was playing with Jungkook's hands.
"That's alright. I read that you're doing solo stuff before your major comeback. Right?" Asked Sungmi. I looked at Jungkook and waited for his reply. I don't have an idea what's their plan now so this got me curious.
"Yes, Sungmi. That's correct!" He gave her a thumbs up. He laughed when Da-eun squealed and pinched his chin.
"That's nice!" Sungmi nodded. "I saw you have millions of fans. That's so incredible. Iseul, don't you regret breaking up with him?"
"Pardon?" I knitted my eyebrows together and looked at her sharply.
"Jungkook is such a nice catch, you shouldn't have let him go," Sungmi said.
"Ahh...Sungmi---" JK chimed in but I interrupted.
"Yeah, you're probably right and he knows that well. He hops from one net to another." I sniggered. Jungkook looked at me and pursed his lips awkwardly.
"Is that so?" Sungmi chuckled nervously when she saw my reaction. Then turned to Jungkook. "Oh! I forgot you have a girlfriend now!"
"I don't have a girlfriend, Sungmi." He answered her right away but he's looking straight into my eyes. I almost choke on my saliva and avoided his eyes.
