Auri made sure that everything was locked up tightly within his house, he also closed the curtains to prevent any light from entering, the only light that was ever left on was the ceiling lamp in the middle of the living room, which wasn't as bright, and make's it feel anonymous. Mario and Meggy sat in opposite sides of the table while Auri is on an old lan phone in the kitchen.
"Alright!" Started Meggy, "Since we know where those, creatures are at, how are we to take them in!"
"We burn their asses!" Shouted Mario, being very proud of his solution.
"God Damn it Mario! For the last time, Arson is not the answer!"
"Ay, its'a worth the shot if we actually tried it!"
"Still Mario, no! If you can't take this seriously, you can never go back to the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"Well do you'a have any other ideas then a'hmm?"
"I... actually don't know either. But still, no arson, that's final!"
Mario muffled in anger, sitting back down to his chair. Auri was still in the kitchen, waiting for an answer on his lan phone.
"So whose this person you're trying to get a hold of Auri?" Meggy asked, already getting tired of waiting.
"I'm trying to get a hold on to the rookie that I hired not that long ago," Auri replied, "but I'm not sure if she's in her dorm room right now."
"A new rookie?" Meggy said in a frustrated tone, "You never told us you had backups, why didn't you ask them to help with the situation here in the first place!?" Her tone of voice was getting very irritated by the minute.
"She has college Meggy." Explained Auri, "She can't be pulled in and pulled out during her education time." He said.
"Oh... Then I stand corrected." She said with embarrassment.
Auri then pressed the dial buttons on his lan phone, "I'll try to call her again, but I doubt she'll pick up this time." He said, "And Meggy... You'll might remember the face."
Meggy's head jittered by surprise, "a face that I remember?" She thought, puzzled by the statement.
Meggy then rested herself in a comfortable position on her chair, thinking about this face that she remember's.
Mario on the other hand was just spinning around on his swivel chair, making subtle airplane noises.
'Ring, Ring, Ring...' Rang  the phone on Auri's hand, it continued to ring mysteriously for what seems like more than 5 seconds.
Auri's face became slowly uncertain, biting his lips after every time the phone rang.
"Come on, please pick up." He said to himself.
Everything else suddenly became quite too. Mario stopped making noises but still spinning in circles on his chair, and Meggy was getting a little anxious by the second.
'Ring, Ring, Ring...' Rang the phone again, getting frightfully slower, 'Ring, ring, ring...' It went again, and then all of a sudden,
"Hello?" Said a serious, yet seductive voice over the phone.
"Hey rookie! It's Auri."
"What's it this time Auri? You better not be stuck under drawers again."
"What? No, it's serious this time, you think you can come over?"
"Ugh, I don't know Auri... This homework is due later tonight, and I can't fail this or I'm getting kicked out!"
"Pleaaase! It'll only be for a few minutes..."
"...Fine, I'll see what I could do."
"Thank's rookie! I knew I could count on you!"
"For the last time Auri, stop calling me roo-!"
Auri slammed the phone back to its place before they could finished their sentence.
"Great news guys! She's coming to assist us!" He excitingly said.
"When are they coming?" Asked Meggy.
"Anytime now," He responded, "Anytime now."
And not even a second later, there was a knock on the door.
"Wow, that was quick." Meggy said in a surprise tone.
"It must be her now, I'll get it!"
Auri then walked to the front door, unlocked it, and opened it.
"Thank you for coming at an early..." Auri eye's widen to see that there was nobody at the door!  He peaked a little further outside too his left and his right, and still no one was there except the fresh wind blowing through his octopus hat.
"Strange." He said, and closed the door, locking it up again.
He came back to the living room with Mario and Meggy, still sitting in their chairs.
"No one was there." Auri said to them.
"Must've been the wind." Meggy suggested.
"Yeah," He said, "probably."
He then sat down with the rest at the table, waiting for the rookie to arrive.
Suddenly, a dash of wind breezed through them,
"What was that?" Alarmingly asked Meggy.
The ceiling lights then unexpectedly went off, making the whole room go dark!
"Hey who turned off the light!" Scaredfuly said Auri, loudly.
Then there was a huge flash that blinded them!
"MY EYEEEEES!" Wailed Mario in pain.
Everything was happening all at once, It was to hard to understand whats even happening, all they could see was a bright light of whiteness.
Once everything went back to normal, they were finally able to freely see once again. The lights we're back on, still not bright as they we're before.
"Hey!" Said Mario with an angry tone, "Where'sa my hat?"
"My sheriff badge is missing!" Auri also said.
"And my headphones!" Meggy said too.
They all searched under their seat and the table, to see if they accidentally dropped them, or somehow misplaced them.
"Hey sugar's." Said that familiar, seductive voice again.
The three all looked turned there backs to see who it was.
They were human like, with cat like ears on the top of their heads, their hair were bright white like the light mode on discord, They wore a mask that was shaped like a cat to match their cat like ear's, and they also wore a black trench coat with a belt around it, and wore orange sock stockings with, you guessed it, cat faces on it.
"W-Whisk?" Stuttered Meggy.
"You know, if you'd care more about your stuff, it would've been harder for me to steal them." She then tossed all their belongings back.
"Hey Officer Mewosbottom!" Greeted Auri, "Im glad your able to join us-"
His greetings was rudely interrupted by Mario's loud laughing. "Mewosbottom!? BAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Shut it Mario!" Angrily said Meggy, and slapped him across the room.
"Sorry about my friend here, he's... crazy at times."
"Its alright, I know how it feels to have a crazy partner..." Said Whisk, as she gave Auri the death stare.
Auri laughed anxiously a little as Whisk's eye's stares him down, running chills throughout his body.
"Uh, anyways!" He said, "Officer Mewosbot-"
"Whisk!"
"Whisk, sorry, but the reason why we called you here is that-"
"Let me guess, another spy mission."
"How did you know?"
"Auri, that's basically what you put me up to when there's something wrong here."
"...Uh, yeah... But You see, we found where the other members of that criminal group are and we have a bit of a situation on where they're at."
"Like where exactly may I ask?"
"The Crazy Coconut Theater."
"Nope! No can do!" Whisk then quickly walked to the back door.
"But Whisk!" Auri begged in a desperate tone, "It's very important!"
"Hell no in a million years! I am not going back there again like what happened last time!"
"Hey! I said I was sorry!"
The two started to have an argument, overlapping each others sentences, making it hard to understand on what they're even saying.
"Ooh, some'a drama!" Excitingly said Mario, eating a bowl of popcorn.
"Ugh." Said a frustrated Meggy, and came up to both Auri and Whisk to push them away from each other.
"Stop it you guys," She said to them, "This is not the time for arguing!" She then turned her body towards Whisk, "Listen, Whisk, we need your help to catch a couple of aliens before the anniversary because they put the blame on my friend and now he's here locked up in jail!"
"And why should I?" Whisk is starting to make things hard.
"Because!" Said Meggy, "Remember last time when we worked together to get my suitcase back?"
"Yeah, that was years ago Meggy... Things have changed."
"What changed?"
Regretful air has filled the dark room,
"I am no longer the cat who stole your suitcase anymore," She finally said, "Ever since we got your shit back those, maniacs, are trying to get me back for revenge... I stayed away from that place ever since... I just took this dumb job so I could get some quick bucks on my college tuition."
Meggy sighed depressingly, "Well if it helps you, we can put those jerks in their rightful place." "You know what, Fine! I will help you! But under one condition!"
"Whats that?" Asked Auri.
"I want a raise." She said.
"Hehe, let me see about that."
So everyone got back to their seats, as Whisk started to explain the plan.
"Alright!" She started, "I'll keep it short and brief! Fatso over there-"
"I'ma not fat!" Cried Mario, "I'ma just big boned!"
"Whatever, you'll will be our distraction on keeping those alien creatures at bay, Meggy will disguise herself as a bartender, making sure there'll not be anything getting in the way of the situation, I'll be hidden away in the vents till the timing is right to make the move, and as for you, Auri, You could hack into their security camera to see where else those colored aliens are going, You guys got the idea?"
"Yes!" Both Said Auri and Meggy, all except Mario who slept throughout the whole explanation. Meggy then slapped him to wake him up.
"Oh, um! Yeah, yeah, Flame Thrower, magic, Woo!" He said, then falling back asleep.
"Good." Said Whisk, "Later tonight... We'll catch those mugs!"
