Chapter 21: Calamity to the reality

    Everything was pitch dark, the cold air filled the empty atmosphere, a fall like that could make anyone die out. It felt like the end for them, all they could do now is accept their fate and sleep forever, and ever. However, something doesn't feel right, Meggy felt like somethings not right. She feels dead, but her heart is still beating, she could still hear the faint ringing sound, but can't say a word, she can't move any part of her body, but could still feel the hard cold floor.
In a flash, Meggy woke right up in a panic as if she had a nightmare! She breathed heavily as she looked around her surroundings. She then looked at herself from the reflection of the floor, and was in total shock to see that she was just fine! No broken bones or bleeding from anywhere. Meggy soon realized that non of her friends are besides her! She instantly got herself up and searched around her surroundings once more. She decided to to walk aimlessly in the search for her friends.
"Mario!" She called for him, "Auri!" But there was no answer to be heard from.
As she walked aimlessly in this endless room, she soon noticed that this place look's familiar. Cold air, all empty, and very endless, even the reflective floor was also similar as well with the same black and white checker board pattern that extends from what the eye can see. It was like if her dream was coming true. 
Whatever it was, she kept calling for their names, "Mario, Auri!" But still no answers, She kept on walking, and walking... And walking.
It felt like she's been walking aimlessly forever! There were times when she was about to collapse and give up all of her hopes, however, she still kept on going, knowing for sure that her friends are down here.
Somewhere out in the nowhere, Meggy started to hear foot steps that were getting slowly louder as they approached her! She took her fist out to get ready for what's coming.
"Whose there!" She yelled, demanding for an answer.
The sound of the footstep got a louder as it started coming towards her! Meggy clinched her fist, ready to throw her hard punches, but she quickly let her fist go as she saw the shape coming out of the shadows. She saw brown tall boots, a belt with the sheriff badge, and a dead octopus for a hat, Meggy knew exactly who it was.
"Auri!" She shouted happily.
"Meggy!" Excitingly responded Auri, and the both ran up to each other and gave each other the biggest hug imaginable.
"I thought I lost you!" Meggy said, getting a little teary eye.
"I am so glad I found you too!" Auri happily said, "Say do you know Where are we?" He then asked, "I've been walking here for what seems like hours."
"I don't really know Auri... But have you seen Mario? Is he with you?
"Um no, I didn't see Mario. All I remember is that I woke up in this strange place, and not you or Mario were next to me."  
Meggy sighed calmly, "Well, I'm glad you're safe," She said, "I'm just worried where Mario had landed off too."
"Hmm, maybe If we keep on walking, maybe we could find Mario!"
"And how do we do that?"
"By walking aimlessly!"
And so the both continued to walk aimlessly in the nowhere searching for Mario. They shout for his name, with no answer that came. They each took turns on what direction they should take next, which doesn't really matter where they go since everything just looks the same. They didn't have to stop walking, but that was until Auri's knee started to ache, to which they have to stop and sit for a moment and till he could get back up again.
"Ugh, It's no use!" Said Meggy in frustration, "Everywhere we go it's all the same, and yet we can't find him anywhere!" 
"Don't worry Meggy, I'm sure we'll find him!" Assured a confident Auri.
"I know, I just... I just hope he's safe... and not doing anything stupid at least."
Meggy crossed her arms anxiously, she then sat down on the floor next to Auri, taking a breather from all the walking they've done. Auri notice's how anxious she was, seeing it from the worried look on her face.
"Meggy..." He said, trying to comfort her, "It'll be okay."
Meggy then looked at Auri in despair, then looked down to her knees, "I shouldn't have brought him here..." She quietly said. 
"What made you think that?" He then asked.
Meggy sighed depressingly, "I'm sorry Auri, it's just that the past few day's has been hard for all of us... Especially for me. The lies, the searching, everything has been pushing me down ever since Mario was put to blame for these mishaps! I shouldn't have brought him here, but I didn't want to waste that extra ticket... I just wanted to have a nice peaceful reunion with you, and having fun for your islands anniversary. But look where we're at now. Stuck in an endless area with nowhere to go, I just... I just Can't..."
Auri patted the teary eyed Meggy on the back, understanding how she feels, "I'm sorry Meggy." He sadly said, "I Should've known not to hide something that could cause as something major like this, It's hard being a real sheriff for once... I thought getting the extra help needed would fix the problem but... It seems like it didn't" 
The two gazed at their sad reflection on the floor, recalling for the mistakes they have done from then. Their moment was short lived, as they heard a familiar sound out from the shadows. "What was that?" Asked Auri.
"I think," Positively said Meggy, "I think that might be him!" She said in excitement,"Come on Auri! Let's follow that noise!"
They both ran towards where the noise was coming from within the darkness. The familiar noises of 'Yahoo!' kept changing paths, it went from right to left to right to left to right to up to left and so on. For the reason why it was doing so, they don't know but they're going into the right paths as the noise kept on getting louder and louder.
Desperately, Meggy yelled for Mario's name again, only this time she got a response, "Meggy?" Said the voice.
"Mario!" Cried Meggy, and ran towards the voice as they continue to yell each others name. 
Then out from the shadows, came out the Italian plumber, Mario! And they were happy to see each other again! 
"Mario!" Cried Meggy again.
"Its'a Me!" Replied the plumber, and the two just ran up to each other and hugged very tightly.
"I thought I've lost you again!" She said, crying a little.
"...Did Mario go somewhere?"
"No time to explain, but now that we are together, how do we get back?" 
"Good question." Said Auri, "I've never been in this part of Port Aurora ever in my life!" 
"Well we'a in luck!"
 Meggy and Auri looked at Mario, "Really?" They asked.
"We saw an exit a couple of miles ago." Said FLUDD.
"Great! Lead the way back to it!" Excitingly said Auri
And so, Auri and Meggy followed Mario's lead to this exit door. They were already to leave this cold prison, but yet they still haven't found this big boss man Bob and the Teletubbies were talking about. However, they were still confident enough to find them, and bring them to justice!
A couple of miles later, they found the exit! 
"Golly gee!" Cried Auri, "Were free!" 
"Lets'a go home!" Cheered Mario, and they all together ran straight towards the exit!
All of a sudden, a gust of wind had breezed through the trio. It wasn't any ordinary wind, as they've felt it as if someone else was here with them. They stopped to turn around to see if there was anyone else, but no one was there besides them! But then something unexpected happened, the exit door has just vanished into thin air! They were all shocked.
"Where the hell did it go?" Asked a confused Meggy, "It was right there!"
Everyone looked around to see if they passed the door or just missed seen it. Did they imagined it being there? Was it even real to begin with? Have they lost their mind as they've been stuck here for what seemed like forever? No one knows.
Just then, a light flickered on somewhere in the distant. They were confused and unease by the sight of it, but walked all the way over their as they got to the center of the light source. Then, another light flickered right in front of them, as they saw a figure visible outside the light.
"Um, need any assistance stranger?" Auri then asked to the figure. 
It then slowly and eerily walked towards the light, revealing themselves! They all gasped at the sight of who it was! 
"J-judge Sinis?" Stuttered Auri.
 The Judge laughed quietly,  "So, you've finally figured it out," He said, "I knew you freaks would find yourselves here.
"So YOU'RE the one who made that path here!" Meggy pointed out.
"Yes," He said, "Yes I did."
"And YOU were the one who hired those guys to make a mess of our home!?" Cried Auri.
"Yes, I also did."
"And'a YOU put'a blame on the Mario?" Also said Mario.
Judge Sinis just laughed, and he laughed insanely this time, "Oh no, I didn't do it," He said, "But he did." 
The  eerie judge then reveals something as another light flickered on. It was someone, who looks exactly like the judge and he was tied up on a chair! He muffled and tried to yell as he tried to get out from the tight rope attached to him and the chair!
"Y-you're not Judge Sinis." Auri said in fear, "Who are you?"
"Oh, where's my manners."
The Fake judge then unzips something from his back as if it was a costume, It all sank to the ground, including his glasses. Everyone was gasped at the sight!
The fake Judge wore a black suit with an X printed onto it, He also wore a red cape along with purple pants, he had some googles and a funny looking hat.
"It was I!" He yelled, "I am Dr. Pootis, and I am most dangerous man in all of hist-"  
"Who the fuck are you?" Mario asked, interrupting him in the middle of his speech.
"I'm with Mario on this one," Also said Meggy, "I thought it would someone menacing, and not someone in a Halloween costume."
The so called Dr. Pootis groaned in disbelief, "This is not possible!" He cried, "I am most dangerous man in all of history of worlds, Dr Pootis!" He yelled at them.
"What's your problem!" Auri yelled defensively, "What do you want from us!"
"Nothing but MORE POWER! You see little babies, I been doing some dangerous plans to take over all worlds! Once this giant beauty machine is finish, I will be much powerful than EVER!" Dr. Pootis maniacally laughed, dangerously.
"Seriously?" Questioned Meggy, "You just did this so you can prove to be powerful?"
"Yes."
"That's... That's kinda stupid actual-"
"QUIET!" Dr Pootis then brought out his sharpest of sharp staff, and pointed straight at them, "I am gonna kill you, and kill you, and kill you!"
Meggy cracked her hands and got her fist ready for punches, Mario firmly grabbed tight onto FLUDD'S Handle bar, and Auri with confidence on his side was ready to fight him off. 
"Ready gang?" Auri said.
"LET'SA GO!"
Everyone all charged at each other! It was a 3'V'1 and the so called powerful, Dr Pootis, was getting his ass handed to him. He was kicked in the 'Pingas' by Mario, dropped kicked and knee break by Meggy, and stepped on the toe by Auri's brown sheriff boots!  It seem like they were pulling him down with ease by how stupidly easy it was to fight him. That was till Dr. Pootis then suddenly punched them all out of the way like a hurricane! They were sent flying across the room, dividing them from each other again! They got back to their feet, and try to knock him out, but Dr. Pootis just magically disappeared, making our hero's crash into each other!
"Where did he go!" Auri said in surprise.
They all looked everywhere around the room, trying to find him, but there was nothing to be seen. Then they felt a fast gust of wind passing through them, it even did it again as it came back around them! They all turned around, trying to stop him before he get's to them.
Out of nowhere, Dr. Pootis crashed right through them hard like a bullet! He divided our hero once more, pushing them away from different sides of the room. Mario was very unlucky, as he landed just a mile away from the power hungry doctor. He tried to get up, but was too weak to do so, especially when he's carrying a water tank on his back. Auri knocked out getting a bit of a bruise on his forehead. Meggy however got herself up, as she wasn't ready to be beaten just yet! She saw the helpless Mario as Dr. Pootis was slowly walking up to him, with his sharp staff ready to stab through him! 
"MARIO!" She screamed.  
Dr. Pootis placed his foot on top of Mario's back head as he was about to get up. 
"Haha! Any last words before I kill you!" He said to him.
"A'yes," Sobbed Mario, "Mario has one more word to say."
"Say it, If you dare!"
"...You ain't gonna do SHIT!"
Mario quickly sprayed him with FLUDD'S water right in the eye! Dr. Pootis screamed in Agony as he rubbed his eye in pain. Mario then got up, and started running far away from him.
"Eat my Mario pingas, bitch!" 
Meggy was so relief that he was able to escape from his grasp, "Mario!" She yelled, "Over here!"
Mario heard her voice, and start running back towards her. As he ran back to her, he was unfortunately welcomed back by the Dr again, being more aggravated then he once was. He caused Mario to trip and fall back down to the floor unmercifully! This time however, it was game over.
"MARIO!" Meggy cried out for his name for the last time.
Mario's chest was bleeding out where his heart is at, the sharp staff of Dr. Pootis was locked tightly in. Dr. Pootis then unashamedly pulled his staff out from him, victoriously laughing like a maniac he is. 
Meggy quickly ran over towards them, knocking out Dr. Pootis in the process! She desperately tried to get Mario back up, but all he did was fumbled into her arms. 
"Come on Red, don't die on me.."
It was no use, Mario was bleeding out badly, all he can do was gasping for air. Meggy started tearing up seeing her best friend going out like this.
"Mario... Please don't die on me, please not not now."
With the last bit of life he had, Mario looked into Meggy's eye, with the hint of despair.
"Meggy." He said quietly.
"What is it Mario?" She asked calmly."
"M-Mario don't think he will make it..."
"No Mario, You will! I've seen you make it out alive, you just gotta believe in yourself!... Just please don't leave me..."
"...I'ma sorry." With the last bit of breath, he said his final words, "Change the world, My final message, goodbye."
Just like that, he closed his eye, and started to slowly disappear from her arms as FLUDD fell to the ground. Meggy, filled with rage, couldn't control her hard waterfall coming out of her eyes. She couldn't believe that her best friend would die right onto her very arms, especially at a place like this. She angrily turned back to look at Dr. Pootis, but he was no where in sight! She looked around her surroundings in a quick matter, only to see nothing but darkness. Auri soon woke up, noticing Meggy at the distant. He got up and ran towards Meggy, but was soon stopped by a sudden earthquake! 
"What now!" Meggy said angrily.
Auri fell onto the floor as he lost his balance from the aggressive shaking from the floor. Then out of nowhere, something huge was coming from the distant. It was huge, twice the size of Ink Biggera, and twice the size of The Great Mighty Poo! However, instead of being made from ink, it was made from metal parts. It banged the floor as it got closer to the light. It's shaped like a box with a big X at it's front, It had two sharp claws coming out of each side, along with big metal shoes. On top of it was Dr. Pootis who was controlling the machine, and he was laughing like crazy!
"You are no match for me!" Yelled Dr. Pootis, "You cowards will be squash like little bugs with my big machine!
Meggy came up to him without any fears or a second idea.
"Fool me once, shame on you." She said to him, "Fool me twice, shame on me. But fool me three times, you crossed the line!" Meggy's hot headed temper started to fill more rage into her, "Impersonating, framing, and killing someone whose important to me was the biggest mistake you ever done! He may have been dumb, but he knows what he was doing for was right! And too you, wanting more power for you greedy ass, doing these things to the innocent, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!"
The maniac Doctor just laughed his ass off. 
"It no matter now!" He said, "Once I kill you off with my beautiful machine, I will now take over all worlds with it!"
"Don't you know?" Interrupted Auri, "Bad guys never win!"
"Then fight me already, if you dare!"
And off like the flash, both Meggy and Auri fought Dr. Pootis with his robot on full force! Meggy used FLUDD to fry up some of the circuitry within the robot. Auri kept on making him fumble on his attacks, which nearly made the robot trip to the floor. They were doing some significant damage to it, as smoke started to pour out from the robot! But one mistake was enough for Dr. Pootis to top over them! Auri was overly confident on making Dr. Pootis and his robot crash to the floor, he didn't noticed how slippery the floor was due to the amount of water Meggy sprayed with Fludd! He lost all control of himself, and slipped down face first towards the floor! Meggy noticed and quickly tried to get Auri out of the way, but then she too slipped to the floor next too Auri! Dr. Pootis' robot, slowly came up to them.
"What sick man send babies to fight me?" He said, viciously to them, "Now I'm going to kill you," He added, "And kill you, and kill you!" 
Meggy holds on to Auri, as Dr. Pootis' robot was about to squash them like bugs! They both closed their eyes, accepting their fate. Till all of a sudden, they heard glass cracking. All three looked up and saw a crack at the sky. Confused at first, until more cracking started occurring! Then out of nowhere, it then cracked wide open revealing the sun light and a shadow!  
"Whats sup mama-fucker!"
Meggy couldn't believe with her own eyes! It was Mario, whose somehow alive!
"The bed that'a Steve gave me brought'a me back!" He said.
And then, something else came out from the same light.
"Didn't expect to get this exciting."
It was Whisk, whose also here to save them from the insane Doctor! Mario then landed right on top of Dr. Pootis glass shield, blocking his view from everything!
"AGH! Get the fuck out!" Cried Dr. Pootis.
He swatted angrily to get Mario out of his sight, he didn't notice what Whisk was doing to him. She wrapped a rope around his legs as she jumped from the next foot to the other, once it was tight enough, she went towards Meggy and Auri.
"On 3 we will make him tumble!" She said to them.
"Alright!" They said, and hold onto the rope.
"1!" 
Mario was hanging for dear life, loosing his grip against the glass shield!
"2!"
Nearly falling off, Mario attempted to crack open the shield with his fist! But it wasn't enough, however.
"3!"
With a cling, a bang, and a huge boom! Dr Pootis' robot has fallen to the floor, breaking every parts from it's body! Mario kept on breaking the the glass shield till it finally shattered! 
"Mario's gonna do something very illegal." He threaten him directly, exposing the Doctor's m'er fear in his eyes.
He grabbed him by his non-existent neck, and started to strangle him without mercy!
Meggy was quick enough to snap Mario out of it and letting him go, Auri came up to the now afraid Doctor. 
"Dr. Pootis, you're under arrest!" He said, as he put him in handcuffs. 
"No, NO! This not possible! you cheated, everyone of you cheated!"
"Yeah? Well save that to the judge, he would like to have a nice talk with you!"
