Chapter 22: All's well that ends well

    "Dr. Pootis!" Loudly said the real Judge Sinis, banging his mallet against the wooden table, "You have been a ruthless individual! You have caused nothing but pure chaos for the last couple of days, nearly ruining our celebration of our island! Not only that, but you've been running a whole criminal group all under our noses, and framed an innocent man from all your doings! I by now sentence you life in prison, along with community service on fixing our island!"
With another bang of the mallet, the court session has finally ended!
Dr. Pootis was placed right in jail where he belonged, along with the rest of his minions in a small jail cell where everyone was cramped into one. Judge Sinis came up personally to Mario, apologized for his assumption that he was truly the one behind it all, and pardoned him scotch free! and with only a few short hours till the 201 anniversary begins, everyone all came together, and rebuilt the island with their bare hands! They fixed up all the houses, stores, and streets to their maximum glory. The plaza has been fully re-opened and celebrated with the mini carnival event from when they got here on day one. They've burnt all and everything of Dr. Pootis criminal warehouse, from evil plans on world domination to unfinished machinery. Once the time has come it was now time to celebrate the 201 anniversary of Port Aurora! It started off wonderfully, with the greatest firework show in all of history!
Mario, Meggy, Auri, and surprisingly Whisk celebrated on top of the roof of his house.
"Wow, look at that." Meggy said, amazed of the firework show.
"Ooh." Also said Mario in amazed.
"So Whisk, you sure skipping one assignment is a good idea for this?" Then Asked Auri to Whisk.
"Eh, who cares," Calmly replied Whisk, "It's not like they'll kick me out if I miss one. Besides, I had a rough day today."
"Well don't we all?" He then laughed, "Say, you guys hungry? I got hot dogs!"
"Yeah, sure thing!" Responded Meggy.
"Well looks like I'm coming with you," Teasingly said Whisk, "Don't wanna have another problem for tonight." They all laughed as Auri and Whisk went down to the kitchen to make hot dogs.
Mario and Meggy were left alone on the rooftop, watching the fireworks. Meggy then glanced at Mario, seeing how happy he is.
 "...Hey Mario." She said to him.
"Hm?" Grunted Mario, looking at her with attention
"I'm glad you came to this trip with me." She then said passionately said.
"Ay its'a no problem, Mario had lot's of fun!" Mario joyfully said, "We should'a do more adventures like this!" 
Meggy just giggled, "Maybe, if that ever happens!" She said, hitting him playfully on his shoulder. She then scooted a little closer to Mario, near his shoulders.
"So, when are we'a going back?"
"I don't know Mario, but now, let us rest for a little while. Shall we?"
