Chapter 24 - Late Night Walk

She's so cute.

I mentally whispered to myself while watching her catching her breath with me. Hindi pa din sya nakakaalis ng classroom namin.

After a few minutes, she just stood up, got her things and walked towards the classroom. But before she exited the room, she looked at me.

"I love that. Hope to do it again soon." She stuttered while trying to say those words starightforward that made me blush even more.

It's your fault, Miss Andrea, for being so hot and gorgeous.

"Anong nangyare sayo? Bakit ganyan itsura mo?" Bungad sakin ni Sofia nang magkita kami sa hallway. Papunta kase ako sa office ni Miss Andrea kase namiss ko agad siya.

"Bakit? Anong itsura ko?" Pagbalik ko ng tanong sa kanya nang hindi tumitingin sa gawi nya. Naaalala ko pa din yung nangyari few moments ago. Mukhang mapapadalas yata ang ganong sitwasyon dahil dun sa sinabi nya.

"Nevermind, late na tayo sa last class natin." Ignoring my questions, she held my wrist while rushing to the last class. I sighed after remembering we still have our last class. Why did I forget that? Hindi ko tuloy mapuntahan ulit si Miss Andrea which made me miss her more.

Class went well. Wala namang bago. It's Miss Hanna's class. I always enjoy being in her class, but not as much as in Miss Andrea's even though her stares are scary. I'm used to it na rin naman.

Time has passed, class hours ended already. Naglakad na ako papunta sa exit nang madaanan ko si Miss Andrea. She's talking to some guy. I think I already saw him before. I just don't remember where.

Think, Angela. Think.

Aha! He's the one I saw in her house. Why is he here? What does he need from her, anyway?

Hindi ko alam ang mararamdam ko nang hawakan nung guy si ma'am sa waist. But I'm sure that it hurts. 'Coz earlier we were kissing, and now she's letting this guy touch her. Akala ko pa naman magtutuloy-tuloy na ung good mood ko. Akala ko lang pala yun.

Palabas pa lang ako ng university nang tawagin nya ako. Ayoko sanang lumingon pero ayoko namang magmukhang bastos sa harap nya.

"Rodriguez, wait."

"Bakit po, ma'am?" Napansin ko namang pilit inaalis nya ang kamay ng lalaki sa beywang nya which made me mentally smirk at him.

"Are you going home already? Hop in, we'll drop you off your house." Aangal pa sana ako pero naalala kong hindi nga pala ako mananalo dito. She's Andrea Garcia, anyway.

Kahit pa may ibang tensyon na namamagitan sa aming tatlo ay minabuti ko na lang na tumahimik habang hinihintay na makarating sa bahay. I mentally laughed as I realized na hindi nga pala nila alam bahay ko. So I need to speak to them.

"Dito na lang po ako." Saad ko nang marating na namin ang daan papunta sa bahay. Hindi ko na sila pinapasok since medyo masikip ang daan. Akmang isasara ko na ang pinto nang lumabas si Miss Andrea.

"It's already late, I'll walk you home." Bahagya pa siyang lumingon sa lalaking kasama niya at nagpaalam. Nalaman ko din na Daniel pala ang pangalan nya.

"Hindi na po, kaya ko na po mag-isa." Binigyan ko naman sya ng isang ngiti para sabihin na okay nga lang talaga ako. Kahit na hindi.

She looked at me with a 'please let me do this' look which made me sighed. Her lips formed a straight line after I nodded to her. We went silent throughout the whole walk. I mentally smiled, thinking that it is like a late night walk.

"Why are you being so quiet right now? Are you alright?" Hearing her question made me glanced at her. Her face shows a confused and concerned expression.

"Nothing po, but aren't you supposed to have a date with him?" I politely asked eventhough it will make my heart ache. It felt like a sharp material was stabbed at my heart. Shouldn't have asked that.

"We're not having a date." Kanina kung makatanong sya, para syang concerned girlfriend. But now, tipid tipid na nya sumagot. I sighed.

After that conversation, hindi na kami nagimikan hanggang sa makarating na ako sa apartment ko. Dito na muna kase ako tumutuloy since wala sila Mom sa bahay ngayon. I was about to close the door when she called me.

"Good night, Denise."

I don't know what is the reason of my lips forming a smile, if is it the way she called me by my second name or was it she greeted me good night the first time? But damn.

Hindi ko alm kung anong nangyare sakin that time but the next thing I did was I pulled her next to me and gave her a kiss.

Isa na namang gabi akong matutulog nang nakangiti. Can't wait for tomorrow. Please be like this again.
