Ten - Kid in Love

Right when I got to Alex's house, I knew I made a mistake. Not that I came to his house, but that I kissed him. I don't like Alex like that nor do I think of anyone else. Except Gabe. I want to scream and yell at him but there's no use. He'll just shrug it off or have some smart answer.

I open my eyes and look at the arm wrapped around me. I carefully pull it off and sit up. The blue alarm clock shows that it is 9 am. Wow Alex sleeps late. I grab my phone from the bedside table and walk out of Alex's room. Alex lives with his older brother in their mansion. Their parents are never home because they are actors. Alex's older brother is 21. He's in law school but knows how to have a good time. He rarely doesn't have a hangover.

I walked down the cascading granite stairs and went into the kitchen. Alex's brother, Andy, was sitting on the counter and drinking coffee. His head snapped up when he heard me and smiled.

"Another one of Alex's I assume?"

"Another one?"

"Yeah like you partied somewhere and he took you home..."

"Uh I didn't think he did that but no. I'm just a friend." I can't believe this dude right now. I really never thought of Alex as a different clone of Gabe. I mean I don't enjoy people you 'fuck and chuck' but Gabe really has something else to him. No offense to Alex, I still like him as a friend. At the moment I'm still mad at Gabe so I probably shouldn't even think about him.

"Wow a friend? The only friends he has are guys and those two girls that he has been friends with since elementary school." Andy laughed.

I scoffed."You really are a nice brother aren't you?"

"Easy there tiger, I am always here for Alex aren't I? Why did you sleep over anyways?"

"Well I just moved here and my aunt and uncle are away. So, I had to stay with the Gordons. Gabe and I got into an argument so I called Alex."

"Just moved here? You're not Alyssa Woods are you?"

"Yeah. How'd you know?"

"Alex has been talking about this new girl. I assumed it was you."

"Oh." I didn't know Alex ever talked about me.

"Speak of the devil." Andy smirked.

Alex walked into the kitchen and slumped down into a chair.

"Morning." Alex moaned.

"Good morning. I was wondering if you could bring me back to Gabe's? I have to change and check in with Mrs. Gordon anyways." I asked.

"Of course. I'll go get my keys." Alex went into the other room to find his keys.

"Hey, if you ever want to have a good time..." Andy started, then walked closer to me. I backed up to the wall and he was centimeters from my face. "You know where I live." He kissed my neck and walked out of the kitchen.

I stared blankly ahead, trying to process what just happened. Kids in this town are bad enough, now there's older siblings?

"Back! Let's go." Alex chirped, coming back in the kitchen. I followed him out and back into his car. Turns out, he lives like two minutes from Gabe and they live in the same subdivision.

When we arrived, I hopped out of the car and thanked Alex. I made my way inside, to notice almost no one was home. Wow, they really are busy here. I decided to go upstairs and take a shower. I felt really disgusting for some reason.

When I got into the guest room that I was staying in, there was a suitcase on the ground. Maybe it was just something they store in here and they didn't put it away. I shrugged it off and opened the door to the bathroom. There, naked, was a guy. I screamed and shut the door. I heard fumbling and cussing inside the bathroom before the door opened again.
