Aunt Laura quickly nodded, I never expected for her to understand this so easily. I wouldn't have had to go through all of this. I mean, I kind of brought this upon myself. The night when we danced and I followed him upstairs misled me to believing he was just hurt and could actually care. I was skeptical throughout the whole marriage thing. I just guess the guys here are all assholes. They only go for who will give them what they want.
I sigh and call Kendra, desperate to tell them about what has happened.
"Hey Alyssa. What's up?"
"I need to talk to you and Kayla. Could I come over?"
"Yeah. I'll leave the door unlocked."
"Okay. Bye." I hang up and hurry down the stairs.
"Alyssa." I turn around at the door and see Mike leaning against the stairs.
"Yeah?" I fold my arms.
"Are you okay? Like, with everything? I honestly didn't even think you'd want to get married this young to a douche. Plus what's up with Gabe?" He kind of throws it at me.
"Mike, I can't talk about this right now." I turn back to the door.
"Gabe's upset about something and we don't know why?"
I stop dead in my tracks as I'm turning the door knob. "We?"
"Yeah, Garrett." Mike shrugs. "I mean, they're going to see Gavin tonight, but that's not it."
"We got into a mini argument about Jesse." I sigh.
"You actually like him?"
"No. He's an asshole. I just have to go, okay?" I turn around and walk out the door, going to my car and backing out. I drive to Kendra's house from there and walk right in when I reach.
"Hey." Kayla walks towards me. "What's going on?"
"I ended my misery with Jesse." I huff, sitting down on the couch.
"For real?" Kendra is now in the room with us.
"Yep. It drove me to my last nerve." I shake my head.
"Well, now you can be with Gabe." Kayla smiles.
"I don't think so." I shrug.
"Why the hell not!?" Kendra frowns at me.
"We fought before I left his house this morning." I look away from them.
"This morning?" Kayla raises her eyebrows.
"Yes." I smirk.
"Oh my god." Kendra squeezes me and I laugh. "Now you so have to get him back."
"Not so sure about that." The amused grin slides off my face.
"Come on, I'm sure he's like gonna crawl back to you." Kayla shoves me.
"I don't agree. He already has enough on his plate."
"Right, Gavin." Kendra frowns.
"Well you've got the rest of the day to figure stuff out." Kayla points out.
"I think I should leave this drama behind me and focus on school." I admit. My grades have most likely plummeted and I want to keep my Julliard scholarship.
"True." Kayla shrugs.
"I at least want to go see Gavin. I don't even know when I'm getting this off." I raise my wrist with the cast and shrug. "Maybe I can ask for a walk-in."
"Then go. Wait. Did you drive here?" Kendra stops.
"Yes." I shrug again.
"You're injured!" Kendra shakes me.
