Just stories I came up with

Dimension travelers

Mike giggled as he saw his brother come near. If his older self would look back on his memories, he would be reminded -not for the first time- that ignorance is bliss. However Mike is still a child along with his brother let's let them have that innocence for a little while longer.  'He's walking on the ceiling!' Raising an eyebrow at his twin, Kai stopped and motioned for him to come on. Just a little longer the 10 year old whined. "No you're gonna get lightheaded. Get. Down." "Don't boss me around." The younger child hissed to his brother before waiting a second and being very pleased when he felt Kai's annoyance, Mike slowly climbed down keeping his emotions securely hidden from the link their quirks had. It was likely because they're identical twins and the  quirk may or may not have split between them. In all of his searching Mike had never found an answer from any of the 9 generations of people in Japan. There was solely few people who he could not see And 2 of them may or may not have an answer but he does likes breathing so they're off the list of people to ask.

When Mike's feet touched the ground his minutes older brother started walking to where they both knew the car was. Slightly jogging to catch up, Mike decided to make a game whether he beat his brother or not was the question If Kai used his quirk he would win without a doubt. 'I'll beat you to the car!' The red string formed between their heads -that only they and their mother could see and hear though-. Before Kai snorts and replies using the same method accepting the challenge and starting running forward. Propelling himself with bursts of air from his quirk they had gotten from their mother. Kai was going so fast you almost couldn't see the only way you knew he was using his quirk. 

Mikes quirk flares a mist-like substance coating him as he turned to look at their younger sisters seeing the portal opening behind them in slow motion. He froze then multiple things happened at once. Mike's and Kai's mother -Satsuki- turned face pale to the girls as that happened his legs started moving toward them and Kai was running completely forgetting about his quirk as he ran adrenaline pumping him faster. Mike processed all of this through his quirk and something was odd the string was now a rope connecting him to his twin so much that he could barely tell who was who. 

Smiling with relief as he reached his sisters, the portal finished opening. Grabbing his little sisters wrists he yanked them back smiling for a second before realizing his grave mistake. Now Mike was the one falling through the portal a short yelp scraped it's way through his throat before he felt wind swirling around him, Mike recognized as both Kai's and Satsuki's quirk at the same time. Arms wrapped around him as a body crashed into him. Reaching for his quirk he felt the breathing pattern and the flow of blood before an image came to mind before yanking away as the portal swallowed them whole tearing a bit of white cloth which Mike grabbed and stuffed into his pocket. It would tell him more information later. Gasping for air Mike realized another problem 'I can't breathe.' The portal spat them out and only then did the twins get a good look at the clear portal. with light flowing to the place they could only assume was the ground.

Spinning as the two hit water which felt as hard as concrete. Knocking them unconscious, Kai woke up quicker to be met with very unfamiliar faces and ribs Kai assumed would be broken. Man he wished they could have been sent here with an adult preferably Ms. Chiyo, But alas the two had no such luck. So they were stuck broken ribs, cold, wet and unfamiliar people. 'Lovely' Grabbing his brother and scrambling back as fast as he could through his pain (It wasn't very fast.) Hair loopies, spear (Kai tugged Mike barely closer due to the fact breathing hurt.) and tattoos. 'what the heck?'   Hearing a loud groan tattoo's jumped up and shouted "APPA" before the Kai lost consciousness again. The next time one of the two woke up it was Mike who pretended to be asleep while using his quirk to gather information careful not to fall to far into the depths of his quirk. 

Soon they  reach the southern water tribe 'The heck?' He decided to 'wake up' groaning  slightly he sat up. he'd gathered a lot of information and was still processing. The rest of the day went by in a blur -almost literally-  for him barely keeping up with what was going on they asked his name got checked up by the village elders as well as Kai whose side he wouldn't leave. They all looked like they wanted to ask questions but an elderly lady would glare at them and they'd close their mouths. 'The power of being an elder you can't change my mind'. 

It was night when Kai awoke from his extended nap to find his brother siting at his side gray and white wisps of smoke around him almost invisible if not for the fact that they went in front of his black pats but that was how well the wisps and snow went together. Cracking an eye open mike grabbed him and hugged tightly stopping when Kai sucked in a breath through his teeth.         "You good?" "Only a few broken bones I believe." Mike nodded understanding that was what the elders said after all. The string formed as I started sharing what I had seen a few hours before. It was only 30 minutes of the bare basics but to the boys it felt like much longer. However they were lucky that was all Mike had been able to recover without losing himself within his quirk it was already a lot to process.  

"So where do you think we are?" 

Taking a deep breath Mike answered "Different Dimension." Tears formed in both boys eyes it was supposed to be a good day, not this mess. A few tears fell before Kai broke the silence "Do you have anything to see what happened?" Slowly standing up Mike started walking to the pile where their clothes were. Pulling the gray-white cloth out of His pants pocket. Staring at it for a second Mike started walking back before sitting down next to his twin. The string formed again this time thickening until they had a sturdy rope. Taking a deep breath to steady himself Mike used his quirk to look into the last moments before the Cloth had been ripped sitting and concentrating the minerals let Mike see the last moments before it had been ripped. Best thing about rock and such is that they loved to tell stories.

The slowed time made it easier. This is mike's domain No one beats him here not even kai. slowing down the time Mike and through him kai saw that they had been able to save the girls and that the entire family was terrified of the prospect of what had happened. 'They all look so different even dad and he's normally impassive.'  Sending his thoughts to kai he let his hold on his quirk go relishing in the quiet it was extremely rare to get nothing was quiet everything had vibrations and those tiny vibrations to him was full blown conversations between the elements. 

Speaking of such they were coming back. Walking over to his pants he grabbed the ring Nezu had made for him a few years back and felt the voices cease. "Mike?" Said boy hummed responding to his brother. "Did they change me?" Mike could practically hear the blush that had made way to Kai's face. "It took you that long to figure it out?" Stealing a look at his brother's face Mike barked out laughing at the deep red flush on his normally unreadable face.

'This is going to be a long trip.'

'Agreed'
