He glared up at Blair, noting that even if he tried to leave, he'd immediately get shoved back by the other two.
He was ducked under a slap—surprisingly graceful—for his rough training. The slap just left him annoyed; now any sane person would be annoyed that someone was trying to hit them. Not our dear Silus! 'How can you even have bad form with a slap? It should be impossible.' He thought to himself, completely forgetting what was going on in front of him. Yup, our dear boy is more mad that someone managed to find a way to have bad form with a slap than the fact that she had tried to hit him.
"Are you even listening to me?" Blair hissed,
"I don't normally listen to someone who I have no respect for." Silus murmured, not even realizing he'd even said anything.
Blair continued to lecture him about one thing or another, like listening to his betters, which he had no intention of hearing.
Silus started walking forward to leave the group, completely forgetting what he had noted a few moments before. Probably not the best idea, but being an idiot didn't have perks, and this was proof.
So he tried to walk past the annoying blonde. Key word: tried.
Which means he was just shoved back into the middle of the three, not able to comprehend why he thought that was a good idea.
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME!?" Blair bellowed at him before the four heard ringing. "You're lucky the bell rang this time." She said this before turning and dramatically flipping her hair with the purpose of hitting him, which he stepped back to avoid.
'Was that supposed to be a threat? Poorly done. At least try to intimidate.'
He thought unbelievably before heading to his homeroom class. He sat down in his seat in the middle, to the side. He found out a long time ago that if you want to hide, the best way is to blend in. People always hear about the front and back, but almost never the middle. "Silus." The teacher called during attendance. "Here." He called back lazily. He snapped out of his thoughts and regained his attention so he knew what would be going on and, preferably, not fall behind in school.
He had enough loose ends to deal with as things were.
As soon as the bell rang, he was out of the stiffling classroom. Tomorrow was a field trip, that he was not going on, the group home barely had enough money to keep the kids going to school and pay for everything else. He felt himself bump into someone.
"Sorry," he managed to say, his voice coming out quiet and distant, ignoring his attempt to sound like he was paying attention and finally seeing who he bumped into.
"It's fine," A tall boy with brown hair and tanned skin answered. The boy seemed familiar to Silus, who assumed they had classes together. The boy looked at Silus and said "I should be the one apologizing, it's my fault really, It's nice to meet you, Silas, right? We have a few classes together. Name's Judas"
He looked up at the boy again and nodded in greeting. Silus stared for a moment, trying to comprehend what the boy in front of him just said, while in the process making Judas quite uncomfortable. Finally breaking the silence, Judas awkwardly gestured to keep walking while inviting Silus.
"Well, Silas, let's go then?" The brown eyed boy asked, obviously trying to make the situation more bearable.
"Sure," Silus answered a bit above a whisper. The two boys started walking next to one another in incredibly awkward silence.
"Hey, uh, Silas," Judas questioned randomly.
"Yeah?" Silas stared at the floor.
"If you don't mind me asking, why don't you talk to anyone in class? I-I mean, uh, from what I know you don't really have any friends. Why's that?" Silas tilted his head, while thinking of what to say. His hand started to tug on his sleeve.
