"Step away from him or else" Castiel calmly but filled with anger told the angel attacking Dean.
"Castiel, it's so nice to see you brother. I can kill a winchester and the rougue angel" the angel turned away from Dean to face Castiel. Dean was beaten up really bad. Castiel knew he needed to get Dean to the bunker.
"Kill me first then, if you can" Cas said in an attempt to get the angel off Dean.
"Is that a challenge? Remember, I killed thousands"
"Try to kill me then" Castiel replied.
"My pleasure"
The angel lunged forward at Castiel. The angel and Castiel got into a good fight but it ended when Castiel got a hold on the collar of his shirt and lifted him off the ground.
"Never touch The Winchesters. Leave and tell the others" Castiel nicked the angel's cheek with his sword then dropped him. The angel disappeared right away.
"Dean? Come on, wake up!" Castiel dropped to his knees to wake Dean.
"Please get up! We have to get you out" Castiel started to beg. Castiel picked up Dean and placed him in the back seat of the Impala.
After a few hours of driving Castiel heard a noise from the back seat. Dean was finally waking up.
"Dean? Oh thank father you're alive" Castiel softly said before he yawned.
"What happened? Where are we? Are you driving my baby?" Dean kept shooting questions.
"Don't worry, we're close to the bunker, a couple more minutes" Cas tried to ease Dean's troubled mind.
Dean tried to search in his mind of what happened earlier that day but didn't remember anything about Castiel being there.
After Castiel got Dean in the bunker he decided to stay and tend to Dean's wounds as Sam went out to get more supplies.
"Cas, what happened? I remember fighting an angel who was searching for you. He wouldn't stop beating me. Just over and over. I blocked most of the shots but he got me in the head and I was out" Dean explained what he remembered.
"After that happened I found you and the angel. I dealt with him then took you here" Castiel explained as he iced Dean's jaw and the side of his eye.
"Sorry I didn't come earlier" Castiel added in trying to avoid eye contact with the hunter. Castiel always got lost in Dean's wonderful green eyes. He loved the different shades of green they've turned in the years he has known him. Dean noticed Cas avoiding eye contact so he made an effort to look into his favourite blue eyes.
"You don't need to be sorry. You saved me again. Are you okay?" Dean asked Cas concerned about the emptiness in eye contact.
"I'm okay, just tired" Castiel didn't lie he was tired but something was bothering him. He felt empty and alone. This never bothered him before but he found it odd that this feeling would disappear after he looked into Dean's eyes or hugged Dean or see Dean smiling.
"You don't look okay. What's on your mind?" Dean was getting worried about his fallen angel. Dean didn't let Cas hear the worry in his voice.
"You" Castiel said then closed his eyes and pointed his head down. Dean knew what he wanted to do but wasn't sure how Cas would take it.
Dean lifted Cas' face with a finger then laid a soft kiss upon his lips. Dean stepped back and waited for Cas' reaction.
Cas opened his eyes and looked directly into Dean with shock that settled into a calm and happy smirk.
Castiel moved closer to Dean and wrapped his arms around the back of Dean's neck and pulled him into a deeper and passionate kiss. Dean started to smirk during the kiss and thought to himself how happy he was that he finally kissed Castiel. He could get use to kissing Cas more often. Cas was in pure bliss.
Castiel couldn't believe that he was making out with Dean Winchester.
"I'm guessing you're staying over tonight" Dean smirked and told Cas a few seconds after they parted.
"You guessed correctly" Castiel smiled.
"Staying with me? Right" Dean pointed out the obvious.
"Don't ask stupid questions" Castiel smirked and couldn't contain his happiness inside. Castiel started to kiss Dean again.
Sam walked in with two bags of food and smiled at the two.
"It's about time" Sam spoke up.
"Do you mind? I'm trying to make out with an angel" Dean told Sam.
"Ex-angel" Castiel corrected Dean.
"No, you'll always be my angel" Dean simply said before he kissed Cas again.
