"I don't know where to go...I walked for miles to see you. I..." Castiel was cut off by Dean closing the door in his face.
"Please Dean!! I'm cold, hungry, poor, tired and lonely. Please let me in. Dean?" Castiel called out for him. Once the light was off Castiel knew Dean was sleeping. Castiel lay on the cement ground and tried to sleep.
"Oh shit!! Dammit Cas!!" Dean cursed as he opened the door to a surprise.
"Dean..." Castiel raised and puppy eye Dean.
"Dammit! Sam taught you puppy eyes" Dean cursed. "Come in" Dean let castiel in.
"Why are you here? I thought you never wanted to see me after...yeah" Dean asked.
"You are the only one I trust with my life, I can't sleep without you, I can't even close my eyes without seeing your face that night. I was scared" Castiel tried to explained. Dean sat on the edge of the bed and Castiel joined him.
"You were scared? Of what? Being happy??" Dean pushed Castiel's walls like he always did.
"Something like that..." Castiel mumbled.
"What was it?? You can tell me. You owe me that much" Dean spit out angry with Castiel. "You threw me away!! And for what?? You know what? Screw you!" Dean continued.
"I did it to protect you" Castiel told the angry hunter.
"Screw protecting me!! You tell me what the hell was that!! Now!! Before I kick your feathery ass out" Dean yelled.
"Dean, I lost it all. I'm not an angel. It was either I give you up to them or I stand in your place. I was protecting you honestly" Castiel looked down at the floor and remembering all the torture. Dean placed his hand on Castiel's cheek and lifted his face.
"So you really walked to me for days on end? And you were protecting me? They...did they hurt you?" Dean snapped out of his anger for the fallen angel after realizing what he did for him. Castiel leaned into Dean's hand relishing in the warmth.
"Yes, it's all true." Castiel simply said.
"But why Cas?? Why put yourself in that position?? They could have killed you" Dean asked Castiel not clear about his motives.
"For you Dean, I couldn't let them do that to you. I...I...umm...love you" Castiel quietly let out. Dean pulled Castiel in and kissed him softly. Castiel softly grips Dean's waist, pulling him closer.
"Cas, i've been waiting for you to say that. I love you dear angel" Dean whispered in Castiel's ear.
"But i'm not an angel anymore" Castiel stated.
"You will always be an angel to me" Dean simply said before kissing Castiel again.
