Chapter 27: Jackson ~ Basketball

Today is the day that you hated the most, It's monday today. You don't feel like going to school today but since you are living with your parents you need to.

You somehow managed to survive half day in school. Well you have this crush on Jackson who is a year older than you. The two of you never speak to each other for more than an hour since you two were both shy.

It's already lunch break and you were walking on the gymnasium with your group of friends when you saw Jackson walking at the center. Your friends also saw him and they started teasing you.

You just pretended that you didn't saw him and putted your attention to your friends.

"Yah Nadine! Don't put your attention to us! Jackson is dying for you to look at him." Your friend said teasing you.

"Pabo yah! Shut up he might hear you." You shouted while signaling them to shut their mouth and stop talking.

"Arasseo Arasseo~"

Jackson passed by without you looking at him but he was looking at you which he can only see your back.

What your friend say was true since Jackson also has a crush on you but he was afraid of you rejecting him. He did not know that you liked him too.

You and your friends were still on the bleachers talking about random things when the bell rung signaling all of you that it is already time for all to go back to their respective classroom since the class will begin already.

As soon as you heard the bell all of you hurriedly went back to your classrooms as long as Jackson. You and your friends were on the stairs with Jackson behind you when All of your friends started to run leaving you and Jackson behind.

The atmosphere was so awkward since the both of you never said a word. All you can hear was your foot steps taking their steps on the stairs.

Well for Jackson, He thought that it would be a real good chance for him so he can talk to you so he started to talk.

"H-Hi!" He said.

"Hi." You replied in a shy tone.

After that the both of you did not say a word but you really want to open a conversation but ended up not doing it since your room was close and you were also shy.

You arrived in front of your room a bit down since the both of you didn't talk for long. You were opening the door know when someone patted your head. It was Jackson who did.

"Good Luck!" He said while smiling and went to his room. When he did that you were really happy. You saw his smile, He patted your head and even said Good Luck!

You entered the classroom with a big smile on your face and your friends were looking at you while laughing as if they know what happened.

The class started and you weren't really paying attention since you were still imagining the moment a while ago.

School finished and all the teacher did was speak and discuss about things. Your friends started to go home and you were the only one left since you don't go home that early.

You love playing basketball so you grabbed your ball and went to the basketball court to practice shooting. You were in the middle of shooting and you didn't shoot the last ball. You were about to pick it up when Jackson did it for you.

You went to him and he handed the ball with a smile.

"Want me to help you practice your shooting?" He asked.

"Sure."

Jackson helped you practice and you were really happy. You stayed cool but on the inside you were already jumping because of happiness! You would never ever forget this moment.

"So Nadine you want to make a bet?" He asked.

"Okay!" You replied.

"If I shoot this ball on the basketball I'll tell you the girl that I like but If I did not I'll kiss the girl I like." He said.

"Then don't shoot it so I can see you kiss her." You said but on the inside you were really hurt since you knew that moment that he doesn't like you.

"Okay then I won't shoot it." He said then shoot the ball and as expected he didn't shoot it but he walked near you and all you knew was that his lips were attached to yours.

You were really shocked and did not know how to respond nor react to the situation that you are in.

"What was that for?!" You said while shouting a bit.

"Pabo! Can't you see that I like you?" He said.

"What are you saying Jackson! Don't joke around." You said.

"But I'm not joking! Nadine I love and like you for a long time already! Will you accept my feelings and be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yes I will." You replied and hugged him.

"Ayieeee~ Excuse me but would you mind continuing that later." Someone said and saw that it was your friends.

"What are you doing here?!"

"Watching a movie." They said and laughed.

"Ahhh!!!" You shouted in embarrassment.
