Chapter 2: Mark ~ Supposed to be

It's already midnight and still your boyfriend Mark still hasn't come home. You become so worried and you decided to call him. But he's not picking up all of your calls. You already made a lot of calls but not even once he picked it up. After a minute or two he finally picked it up.

"What? Who is this? Hello?"

You were about to speak when you hear a woman's voice instead of Mark's voice. You didn't say anything and tried to listen at the voice again.

"Hello? Hello!"

This time you were really certain that it was a woman's voice. Then you heard a man's voice and that voice was your boyfriend's voice.

"Hello? Yeobo I-" You didn't want to hear a thing coming from you boyfriend so you ended the call and cried on your pillow thinking why would he do that to you. You didn't expect Mark to cheat on you. You were together for 5 years now.

Today was your birthday and he didn't even greet or say hi to you. You always remind him that he should come on your birthday yet he didn't come. Maybe he doesn't love me anymore, Maybe he doesn't care for me anymore, that's what you thought.

You cried all night thinking about what happened. It was supposed to be your day. You wanted it to be happy not like this. You were expecting something from him but sad to say he didn't come and the day of your birthday you knew that he was cheating on you. You didn't know you fell asleep.

You woke up with the sun's rays hitting your eyes. You don't want to get up because your body was feeling heavy same with your eyes. You were alarmed with your phone ringing. You picked your phone and looked at the callers name and you saw Mark's name in it. You felt as if your heart was going to break and you ended the call. Since you knew he was going to call again you turned your phone off.

When you heard you tummy crumbled you got up from your bed. You first look for a ponytail to fix your hair since you were soaking with sweat and went to the bathroom to wash your face. Then you accidentally saw a picture of you and your boyfriend Mark together.

Supposed to be you are by my side, Supposed to be you're here with me.

Then you went to the kitchen to grab something to eat. Supposed to be your here with me eating.

You went to go outside and go to the park. It was raining very hard and you don't have an umbrella but you didn't care about that and walked alone in the rain.

Supposed to be you're walking with me.

You arrived at the park and you sat at the bench then your eyes caught something unexpected. It was your boyfriend Mark. He's kissing a girl under the tree. Mark accidentally saw you. You grab all your courage and went to where they are.

"Jagi~ it-" You cut his words by slapping her very hard at his face and ran away.

Mark followed you and you didn't know that. Then you heard a very loud sound approaching you. You didn't know what happend next, you just found yourself lying on the ground and became unconscious.

Mark went to you panicking. He quickly called the ambulance. "Jagi! Wake up!" He called your name many times until the ambulance came to get you.

5 years later~

"Jagi~ When are you going to wake up? You know It was all a misunderstanding.. What you saw at the park we were really not kissing. I was just helping her because her hair was stucked in her clothes. You know I love you and the time when a woman answered the phone that was a staff in the bakeshop. I left my phone there and when you called the staff accidentally picked up the phone I was about to get it from the staff when you ended the call. And the reason why I didn't come to your birthday was a plan.. I was setting up a surprise for you. So please wake up! It's your birthday today. I love you" Mark said with tears falling down his face.

"I love you more Oppa!" Mark was so surprised when he heard your voice. You just smiled at him and he kissed you.
