"This is your captain speaking. We are nearing our destination. Flight attendants, Please check that our lovely passenger has properly buckled their seatbelt. Please get ready for landing." I announced.

How much time has gone since then? How long is it? I lost my count. After living in New York for four years, this is my first trip returning to the Philippines. And since I haven't told my friends yet, I will present myself as a woman who is already engaged this time. I would get a real slap from Yeji.

"Cap!" Who's it again? Ofcourse, My dear fiancé.

"Are you literally calling your fiancè 'Cap' in public, Chester Lopez?" I arched my brow.

Napalunok naman siya dahil dun. "Bakit, Ayos lang ba sayong tawagin kitang honey mylabs so sweet dito sa airport?" Pagdadahilan niya.

"Dami mong daldal," sabi ko. "Anong kailangan mo?"

"Alam ko namang hindi ka sasabay sakin pauwi kaya pina ready ko nalang yung sasakyan mo sa labas. Here's the key," Inabot niya saakin ang susi.

"Patagal ng patagal mas lalong nag iimprove yung common sense mo," I complimented him.

Napakamot naman siya sa batok. "There's nothing I can do to a spoiled, maarte, and laging tama na babaeng tulad mo."

"Insulto ba yun?" Bigla kung ani.

Napatawa naman siya saglit bago niya tinapik ang balikat ko at kumaripas ng takbo. Actually, I feel so guilty towards Chester. Kahit anong trato ko sa kanya, He never give me the same treatment. Ever since he knew that I said yes to the engagement, Never nag iba yung trato niya sa'kin. He is always nice and consistent kahit pa siguro sagasaan ko siya. I feel bad.

I was about to walk when I heard my phone ringing. It was him again, This stupid eldest son of De Vera.

"What do you want?" Sagot ko.

[Chill. Ang init naman ng dugo mo sa'kin.] sabi niya.

"Magseseryoso ka o papatayin ko to?" I threaten him.

[Mother asked you to fetch someone,] deretsong sabi niya.

"For what? Is she going to nag me again about the marriage? Tell her that I still don't have the plan." Deretsong sabi ko.

[No, Not that. She will never nag you with that or else she will lose your aggrement.] sabi niya.

"Then what is it!?"

[A new investor will be coming today. Can you wait for him at the exit? I already sent your picture to him, You can bring him to the office. I am still on board. I can't do the work.]

"Really? After kung maging piloto magiging tagasundo ako?"

[We don't have a choice, Sister. Unless you get mar–––]

"Fine!" I shouted. "Make sure na after kung ihatid to ay hindi ako kukulitin ng ina mo."

[Ina natin.] He corrected.

"Whatever." I ended the call.

For freaking sake gusto ko nalang maging pulubi. Gusto ko nang uminom ng alak. Maglasing. At tumungaga nalang. Pwede nading mamatay.

I was waiting outside of my car while scrolling in twitter. I also posted a picture of me with a caption 'Alak agad ang hanap dito sa pinas' dahil yun lang naman talaga ang maganda dito. Wala pang limang minuto ay sunod sunod na ang comment ng mga kaibigan ko. Nakangiti kung nireplayan sila isa isa ng biglang may tumawag.
