This is a personal book and I just wanna know people's thoughts on it so far, by the way this was written a while ago so, yeah <3

Summary: Kate is at a school filled with arts, she is a major in acting specifically and throughout her third year, she gets a bigger role than she could've imagined and throughout the year; things begin to get progressively more intense, causing her and her friend-group to get put under further pressure.

ACT I

Kate's POV:

The date today is September 14th, 1987, and we're in England, Kilmore. People will go up to you and say that a lot goes down in England, when in reality, if you look at the smaller towns. There isn't much too it. Especially this dumb town, there is barely anything exciting that happens here which I think is why so many people avoid or attempt to leave Kilmore so quickly.

The school – Kilmore Academy – is split up into different uniforms, though. Mostly everyone has to wear a white shirt, black trousers, shorts, or skirts, and shoes – no heels obviously – but how to tell the difference is the colour of their tie, the logo on their cardigan or blazer to show the difference in what major you have. Art majors wear red and black, Actors wear green and silver, Theatre majors wear yellow and blue, Music majors wear dark blue and deep peach, then Dance Majors wear beige and yellow.

Right now, however, we're at the Tower. The beautiful Tower where our common room is below and just down the hall. However, what is up many sets of stairs so happens to be a beautiful library that we are seated in at the moment.

The library has a spacious octagonal shape to it, bookshelves practically all around the walls and filling most free-space in the middle, adding in small seating areas for people who want to study there – which there barely ever is apart from us. The library is kept oddly warm at all times thanks to the old fireplace that is always lit no matter what season it is, right now, it is a beautiful autumn that makes you always want to have a book nearby at all times, earphones to listen to cheesy romantic songs or classical music, woolly sweaters as it's practically the best fashion here and keeps you warm, dirty converse, and warm hot chocolate. The perfect autumn weather mixed with the perfect autumn activities, clothes, and drink.

Who could want more?

"My god, I'm exhausted." I hear James complain, running his hand over his face as he looks up from his book that rests on his lap. He stretches and yawns before looking back at his book to focus on it again. He moves his glasses up and rubs his eyes, quite intensely. Before setting them back down on the bridge of his nose and begins to focus, again. It's very common that you'll see all of us sitting in this exact sitting.

I'm sitting on a comfy armchair that wraps around me as if it's hugging me, it being big enough that I could bring my knees up to my chest and have enough room to have my feet up, my chair is in between Regulus and Charles' couch that's by the fireplace and the girl's couch, allowing me to feel warmth from the fireplace and still hear the comforting giggles of the girls' conversation while they study.

"We all are." Olivia says through a tired sigh, before moving her right hand over her mouth as she begins to yawn.

"How flattering." Regulus replies, sarcastically, watching Olivia as she yawns. Olivia sending him a middle finger and an over-the-top smile after she was done, earning a laugh from James who I didn't know had looked up from his book. I look over at Maeve to see her intensely reading her book, writing down notes, then reading more. Highlighting every 2 minutes.
