Jenna's POV:

"Oh my god, Conner. Jesus Christ, don't do that to me." I express to him, hitting in the arm, trying to catch my breath and calm my heart down as I feel it beating loudly in my ears and it trying to break free of my chest.

"Ow." He whimpers, holding where I hit, while I rest my back against a tree and resting my hand over my heart. My chest rising and falling quickly. "What're you looking at though?" Conner questions, stepping closer to me and resting his hands on my waist. His eyes serious and glancing between mines before his eyes fell lower on my face.

"Look, there's some creep I spotted from the tent, and I made an excuse to leave to investigate who it was." I explain to him, using my hands making him back away due to my hand movements throughout my short explanation.

"Alone?"

"Yes, alone. I don't want anyone else getting hurt."

"Are you stupid? You could get hurt."

"My god, Con, just go for your pee. I need to figure out who that guy is." I explain my plan to him, attempting to leave but I see Conner begin to stride toward him, tall and 'intimidating'.

"Hey, asshole!" Conner shouts at him, beginning to jog toward him.

"Conner, no!" I reach for him, but he is just out of grip, the guy immediately begins to run away.

"Hey, get back here!" Conner shouts at him, beginning to run after him.

"What's happening?" Faith calls out to us, yet no one answers her.

"Guys, help me!" Conner shouts, Hunter and Cooper bring torches and leave the girls, the girls screaming and beginning to run toward me but I'm running after Conner. Our tent being completely left alone as I notice Faith and Ceana screaming and running toward us, trying to catch up but since they have no torch, they are probably just trying to catch up to the flashing lights and shouts of all of us.

"Conner, come back!" I shout after him, running past a few of the guys and seeing Conner's figure 100 yards in front of me, I groan and try to run as fast as I can while trying to dodge try branches and holes that could hurt my ankle. I jump over a log and stumble a little bit but continue to run—

Shit, I should've taken a photo of the guy!

My heartbeat is thumping heavily. So loud that I can hear it in my ears. I see Hunter and Cooper run past me as I realise that I was slowing down. I see the figure ahead of Conner.

"Get back here!" He shouts to the figure, the figure beginning to head left. I begin to run left, hoping to cut him off. I try text Kate and run but it was slowing my run down, so I decide to delete the words and shut my phone off, continuing to hold it and keep the torch on.

"Where is he?!" I hear Cooper shout, panicked.

"He was just here!" Conner desperately replies, I continue to run left, seeing a figure hide behind some kind of rock. "Where are you asshole?!"

"Fucking creep!" I hear Cooper shouts loudly, "Too scared to come out and fight like a man, huh?!" He shouts at the figure, yet the more I move toward the rock, the less I hear them or see them. They sound like they are still running. I arrive at where the guy was hiding, he isn't there. I immediately stop and try to catch my breath, gasping for air.
