⚠️TW⚠️: Death, Talk of Suicide

here we go!

Production Log One –

It was clear who did the natural killing in Nirvana Falls. Everybody in town knew who did it, yet, sadly, the police didn't have enough evidence to convict the person.

He lived in house 84, on the corner. He didn't talk to anyone; his name was John Vincent. Before he was convicted of murder, he was a well-liked guy. Everybody thought that he was a saint, imperfect but still, a nice guy. Regular Johnny-on-the-spot.

That was until dear, John Vincent was convicted of first-degree murder.

It was something that shocked the town. It was something that you would hear in a murder book and suspect never happens near you, but it did. It happened and the Vincent family have failed to leave their house. I've tried to catch them, see them and see how they're doing yet nothing. It's like a complete dead spot for all of them which is slightly concerning due to the fact that what happened was serious and you'd think that the family would want to issue out some sort've apology to the victim's family, yet they didn't. In some ways or another, I think they are still in denial that it even happened.

Jenna's POV:

"Jenna!" I hear my dad shout to me, interrupting my flow. I groan, tilting my head back and removing my fingers from the keyboard; I turn around in my black spinney chair and look at the door.

"Yes?" I shout back, waiting for a response. Yet, I don't hear him say anything.

"Jenna!"

"Yes?" Nothing. I don't hear a word from him so, I get up and I open the door. "What?" I shout again, but nothing. He doesn't reply. I hear his footsteps walking down the hall and standing at the bottom of the stairs,

"I've been shouting you." He tells me, I let my shoulders sink and walk down. Noticing his eyes follow me as I walk past him.

"I heard." I reply, walking past him and heading into the kitchen to see that my mum is opening the oven and pulling out a cheese pizza. It's not being cut up, I feel my face fall. I feel my dad move past me, muttering,

"Excuse me." He mutters quietly,

"You said that dinner was ready."

"It is."

"But... But it's still being taken out the oven." I counter, noticing him look at me in surprise shock.

"Wow, is it really?" I hear him ask me, gasping and covering his mouth. "Damn... I should go to jail for that." He continues onto say, sarcastically. I watch as my mum sets my pizza on a plate and begins to cut it into 8s. I wait patiently, bouncing as I wait. Lifting my left leg up and resting my left foot against the side of my knee. Biting my bottom lip as I patiently wait. I finally see my pizza is ready and I rest my foot down. Taking my pizza and going to leave. "Uh— where are you going?"

"To my room."

"Mm, no you're not."

"But—"

"—Take a break. You've been working all weekend." My mum butts in, in attempt to defend my dad. I sigh, walking toward a chair and setting my pizza on the table and sitting down. I wait for everyone else to join me, "You want a drink with your pizza?" she asks me, resting her hand on my shoulder, I nod my head lightly, humming softly. "What would you like?"
