Jenna's POV:

Production Log Five –

I finally got a reply from Officer Riley, and he said that we can talk on the phone a little bit of today at around 5:30-5:40pm. So, I'm thankful that I finally get to ask him questions that I so desperately need answered so I can have a better understanding of what the police would've done with Nicole Braun and where they would've looked, who they would've talked too, and their thought process.

I need to plan all my questions that I want to ask him and then underline or highlight the key questions that should be asked.

I also am waiting for a response on Lana to do a phone interview with me and I know that she has seen it but I'm guessing she is hesitant to respond. Then again, if I was her, I would be too. If I was friends with an alleged dead girl and someone randomly emailed me 4 years later after it happens, asking me to ask questions, it would intimidate me as well.

Oh, shoot. I hope I didn't intimidate her. I just really want to talk to her about Nicole as Lana was one of her closest friends and she knew of Eva, she knew most of Nicole's laugh. Surely she had to have an insight that could help me find a way deeper into Nicole's life. Like her family life or what she was like to her friends.

I just hope that it's something interesting.

I mean, I hope that Lana knows useful information that can help me find an answer about the case, but I also want to at least have something interesting about. Imagine if John's death really was a suicide and it was an accidental suicide, I don't want to sound insensitive, but I would at least be a little disappointed given the state of things when it was happening.

Hopefully, this interview goes well...

TRANSCRIPT INTERVIEW WITH OFFICER RILEY

(I ask about his day, he asks about mines then I begin to lead him to the real reason I'm talking with him)

Jenna: Are you okay with this interview being recorded, Officer Riley?

Riley: Yes, of course.

Jenna: Great. So, the first question I have is what is the normal procedure that an officer will go through when a missing persons case appears?

Riley: Well, when a missing person is reported, we, the police, will try to find out as much information as we possibly can, like, the person's name, their age, what they were wearing, their whereabouts, the circumstance of the missing person, if it is deemed out of character to run away or go missing. If the person has a vehicle and if so, the licence plate to see if we can try and track it. With this information, that's when the police begin to guess the level of severity. If it's a low, medium, or high risk case.

Jenna: What would a high risk case be?

Riley: A high risk case would be if someone is under threat of being in possible harm due to their age as well as if it is out of character for the missing person to disappear. Also, if the person has a possible disability, that will also join the high risk case of a missing person.
