"Bullshit." Si shouted, pressing his gun against AJ's head.

"Why would I lie about that?" He said, holding his arms up in defence.

"I don't know, to get into our heads and try and stop us from killing you."

"Wait, Si, put the gun down. Look at him and look at Niko, they look too alike for him to be lying." I said. Niko put his hand on his brother's shoulder and he slowly lowered his gun.

"But that doesn't make any sense, Niko's the oldest. Our parents don't have any other sons."

"Well, they must have because he's here." I said. "But why wouldn't they tell you that you have an older brother?"

"Because they didn't want me. They gave me away." Our eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Mum would never do that."

"She did, they both did." He said, his voice full of hurt.

"Maybe we should take him back home with us, speak to your mum?" Si and Niko looked at me before looking at each other hesitantly and nodded.

"Fine, let's go. Step out of line once and I will kill you, brother or not."

We pulled up outside of the house and immediately heard yelling. "Get the fuck out!" I heard Papa shout.

"This is my house, that's my wife. If anyone should be leaving, it's you." We all quickly ran to the scene and Niko stood in front of Alex, blocking him from Ellie.

"Hey, are you ok?" I whispered to her, hugging her tight as she started to sob. "It's ok." I mumbled repeatedly, rubbing her back lightly. The shouting between them ended suddenly when AJ came out the back of the vehicle.

Ellie turned around and let out a shaky breath, instantly dropping to her knees. "Shit, Mum?" Si quickly ran to her and held her close and I went to Papa, holding him back.

"Don't do anything. I know he shot you but we have to hear him out first." He closed his eyes, his hands closing into fists before nodding his head in agreement.

"You are supposed to be dead." Alexander said, his voice seemed to echo through the air. He pulled out his gun from his waist and without thinking I ran at him and jumped on top of him, making him lose his balance and fall. He had already shot the gun by the time we landed to the floor and panic ran through me.

I grabbed the gun from the ground next to us and hit him on the back of the head with it, knocking him out.

"Princess." Niko said, pulling me up and checking me for any bullet wounds.

"I'm ok, I'm ok."

"You're so fucking reckless, he could've shot you instead."

"I'm trying to make a good impression on your new brother." I joked. He held back his laugh, leaning his forehead down onto mine.

"Not the time to be making jokes. Besides, we don't even know if he's my brother yet."

"The evidence is pretty undeniable." I said, turning my eyes to look at AJ. The bullet had hit the car, just next to him and he was looking at it with an unreadable expression on his face.

Blue came running out of the house, probably after hearing the gunshot. "What happened?" He said, helping Ellie to her feet with Si.

"Maybe we should go inside, sit down and have a proper talk about what's going on." Papa said and we all nodded in agreement.
