"Manny, why aren't you dressed yet, Ant woke you up ages ago. Nana will be here soon."

"I don't feel well." He mumbled and I put my hand against his forehead. It was a little hot and his cheeks were flushed red.

"Do you want me to make you some soup?" He nodded slowly. I kissed his head and made my way downstairs to the kitchen to make the soup. 

"Morning, princess." Niko said, kissing along my neck. "You were gone when I woke up."

"I'm sorry, I had to check if everyone was up and ready for school. Manny's not going, he's not feeling well."

"Is he ok, it's not too bad, right? Do we have to take him to a doctor?"

"He'll be fine. He had a cold before, I think it's just playing up a little." He nodded slowly before turning me around and pushing me gently against the counter.

"Stay at home today, don't go into the firm. We can look after Manny together."

"I'll tell Danny when he comes down to find someone to cover my work load." Nik gripped my chin lightly and pressed his lips against mine. I laced my hands in his hair and his hand went to my neck, making me gasp sharply. He took the chance to push his tongue into my mouth and I moaned around it, deepening the kissing.

"Guys, we've spoken about this. We don't do the nasty in communal areas." Blue said, covering his eyes and walking out of the kitchen, making us laugh.

"What brought that on?" I whispered breathlessly, trailing my fingers down the side of his face.

"Nothing... I'm just so fucking in love with you." He had a huge grin on his face and mine was just as big.

"You're in luck because I'm also in love with you." I was about to kiss him again but I pulled back when I hear Manny.

"Ma!"

"Yes, baby."

"Can I have my soup now?"

"Please." Niko said, tapping his head, making him sigh.

"Please."

"Of course." I turned to put it in a bowl for him and Niko sat down at the table, pulling Manny onto his lap, kissing the top of his head softly as he fed him.

"How you feeling, little man?"

"Like poo." He muttered, making Niko laugh softly.

"How about when you're done, we go to the cinema room and watch a film? You can choose which ever one you want, baby."

"Ok."

"Alright, you, it's time for your nap." Niko said after the second film came to an end. They were films he's watched many times but he enjoys them every time as if it's the first. "Shall I take you up?"

"No, I'll go by myself."

"Baby, can you put on a durag or bonnet before you lie down please. Your dad spent a very long time on your hair, it's only been two days, I don't want it to get it messy already."

"No."

"Manny-"

"I don't want to, Ma." He whined.

"Manny, we've spoken about listening when people are talking to you." Niko said.

"It's fine if he doesn't want them. Let me just take the rest of the popcorn to the kitchen really quickly and I'll put a silk pillowcase on your pillow for you, ok?" I said, trying to negotiate.
