I Missed You

Jaeyun refreshed his texts once again and frowned. "What's wrong hyung?" Yungyu said peering over too his phone. He sighed and shoved his phone in his pocket. "Y/N hasn't texted me all day and I'm just worried, it's not like her" Jaeyun said combing his hand through his hand.

Yungyu smirked to himself mentally, he was the only one who knew the truth. Y/N was currently in a uber on her way to watch them preform. She had taken a train ride all the way the previous day.

Y/N was always the one who encouraged Jaeyun to keep going and gave endless support to Jaeyun, even if it wasn't in person. She was the first person he called to tell he was debuting and was the leader.

Jaeyun bit the inside of his cheek before pulling out his phone and texting her again. "Hyung, we have five minutes before we go on stage, let's just warm up and focus on that. Yeah?" Yungyu said grabbing Jaeyuns shoulder. He nodded and got up to stretch and warm up with the others.

Y/N bounced her leg anxiously as the car pulled up to the venue. She texted Yungyu she had made it safely, and was able to grab her place in front of the stage easily. She adjusted the heart necklace with a small "J" engraved in it and looked around. It's been awhile since they've seen each other due too his busy schedule and she had hope her being there wouldn't throw him off too much.

She combed her hand through her newly cut hair and shifted onto her other foot. The lights around her dimmed and the stage lit up. Y/N saw the smiley face of Yungyu peek from the side quickly and wave at her. She smiled and the anxiety of seeing her beloved went away quickly.

Soon enough, the intro beat of "TICTAC" starts playing as the crowed started screaming. So many screams and claps, she couldn't have been more proud of them. Y/N watched in a trance as Jaeyun danced around stage. A bright smile painted on his face until the very end.

Once they were done, Y/N was able to make her way backstage with the help of Yungyu who walked her to the dressing room. Just as she was about to enter, she felt her phone buzz once again. "Hey pretty :), i hope you are okay! love you<3" she read the text and smiled. She had never felt so okay.

"Let me go in first!" Yungyu said hiding her behind the door. "Hyungggg, I have a present for you!" Yungyu said grabbing the leaders arm and pulling him up from the couch. "Yungyu, if this is another one of your pranks I'm not in the mood" he said glaring slightly. Yungyu shook his head, "nonono of course not! I think you might actually enjoy this one very much!" he said.

"YOU CAN COME IN NOWWW" Yungyu yelled snapping Y/N out of her daydream. She opened the door and poked her head inside. "Y/N?" Jaeyun said swing the door fully open and pulling her in for a hug. "I missed you" Jaeyun said his voice slightly cracking.

"awwwh Jae, don't cry" Y/N said feeling him shove his head into the crook of her neck and sniffle slightly. "I miss you too" she said kissing the the side of his head. Seungheon got up from his seat, "moms home!" he said going in to join the hug, before he could Myungho grabbed him. "Let them be for a second" Myungho said placing Seoungheon back at the desk he was sitting at to finish his school work.

Jaeyun finally pulled back and looked Y/N up and down. "You cut your hair" he said combing through it. "I did!" Y/N smiled, as Jaeyun hugged her once more. "Baby, I'm not going anywhere you don't have to keep hugging me" she laughed hugging him back.

"I have a lot of hugs I missed, so shush and let me have this" he said before pulling away and kissing her head. "Are you guys done yet, because we all missed her" Yoonsung said pushing Jaeyun out of the way and pulling Y/N into a strong hug "he wouldn't shut up about you thank you for coming" Yoonsung whispered to her.

She nodded and laughed and hugged the rest of the boys. Jaeyun soon stole her away again and held Y/N close. "Do you guys wanna get lunch? I'm starving" Kyungmin said grabbing his backpack. Everyone nodded and began grabbing their stuff. Jaeyun and Y/N walked out of the venue hand in hand.

"I love you, Sweetheart thank you for coming today" Jaeyun said quietly next to her as they got into a sepreate car from the others. "I love you too Jae, you did amazing today you're literally a super star babe" Y/N said leaning over and giving Jaeyun a soft kiss. The couple both smiled and soaked in each others presence. Missing each other made this moment all worth it.
