Hold Me Close

Y/N rubbed her red eyes, searching for her keys to get into her house. Silent sobs muffled by her scarf made this day even more embarrassing for her.

Once she got inside, she ran to her room shutting the door and changing into sweatpants and a hoodie Yungyu had leftover once. Snuggled under her covers she heard her phone ring. The screen lit up bright, 'My Love<3' displayed across the screen.

She wiped her nose and swiped to answer. "Hello?" her voice scratched out. "Hey sweetheart, one of your friends texted me they said you didn't look to good are you okay?" Yungyu's concerned voice boomed in her ears.

Y/N closed her eyes letting more tears fall, "just a bad day...can you come over?" she asked. "I already have my shoes on I'll be there in five" he responded making her laugh. The call had ended quickly and she waited patiently on the couch for him.

"I came as fast as I could" Yungyu said bursting through the door with a plastic bag. Y/N turned from the tv and ran to his arms.
mEnveloped in a tight hug Yungyu kissed the side of her head.

Yungyu upon hearing the news of his girlfriend having a bad day he instantly had panicked. Usually, it had gone the other way around. It was always a rap her couldn't get quite right or being half a beat late during the choreography and sometimes her just needed the comfort of Y/N.

Yoonsung had been the one to give the idea of getting snacks and then just comforting Y/N however she needed it. Whether it was just someone to talk to or endless cuddles, Yoonsung has advised Yungyu to just listen.

Now sitting on the couch, Y/N sniffed as she tossed another handful of goldfish into her mouth. "Oh it was horrible, I was so confident about my project too and the teacher made such nasty comments" Y/N ranted, as Yungyu silently sat there combing through her hair.

"I watched you make that project Y/N, it was amazing. I know you're upset but it's just one bad grade and I'm still proud of you" Yungyu said.
Y/N paused for a second and stared. Suddenly, Y/N pulled Yungyu into a bone crushing hug making him laugh lightly.

"Thank you." Her voice was shakey but full of sincerity. "I appreciate you" she said pulled away and wiping her eyes dry while smiling. Yungyu cupped her red cheeks and gave Y/N a light kiss.
"I appreciate you too, love."

After calming down, Y/N curled tightly into Yungyu's side as they watched a movie. Soon enough, soft snores could be heard. Yungyu looked down to see his girlfriend tightly holding his waist. He smiled turning on the movie and resting his head. The house was dark and peaceful as the couple slept soundly.
