Fun Fair

Y/N sat in the schools dark library hunched over what had seemed like her one hundredth chemistry book, letting out a huff reading through confusing paragraphs occasionally high lighting somewhat useful information. Suddenly, a pair of familiar arms wrapped around her shoulders. "Hey you" Yungyu whispered resting his chin on his girlfriends shoulder pressing a small kiss to her cheek. "Can I help you with something, Gyul?" Y/N said smiling and turning to Yungyu.

"Actually, yes you can." Yungyu shoved her backpack off the seat next to her and sat down. Y/N scoffed grabbing her backpack and placing it near her legs. "Hey, pay attention to your handsome and amazing boyfriend who is full amazing ideas" He said pushing away Y/N's piles of chemistry work. Y/N groaned and turned to him, "You have my attention." she said Yungyu smiled and grabbed her hands.

"You, me, go to the carnival....tonight." he said, Y/N winced making Yungyu's smile fade. "W-what?" he said worriedly, "We have that chemistry test tomorrow and I really need to study-" Yungyu bursted out laughing. "You're funny baby, I'll pick you up at six okay?" Yungyu ruffled her hair and adjusted his backpack. Y/N's eyebrows scrunches in confusion, "Yungyu- what? I just told you" Yungyu cut her off once more, "see ya lovey! I have to go to gym" he said quickly walking out of the library despite Y/N's whisper shouts of protest.

Later on, Y/N sat on her bed flipping through flashcards. "Knock knock!" Yungyu says opening her bedroom door carrying a small cookie in his hand. "You look pretty, ready to go?" he said smiling sitting next to her messy pile of flash cards. Y/N sighed and nodded looking to the cookie in his hand, "where did you get that?" she said confused. Yungyu smiled and held it up to her to take a bite to which she did. "You're mom made them, she gave me one before sending me up here" he smiled and took a bite.

"Oh god wait are you driving?" Y/N said walking out the front door to see Yungyus black beaten up car in the driveway. "Yep!" he swung his keys around his finger and opened the passenger door for her. "I'm the safest driver ever! Don't worry about a thing, babe." Y/N gave him a worried glance as she buckled herself into the car. Yungyu excitedly got in and started the car. "Were you listening to your own music?" Y/N said as the radio played quietly. "I-uhm-no" he quickly pressed a button a different song played.

Soon enough, they arrived in what seemed in the middle of a field. However, it was covered by big lights, loud music and rides everywhere. Y/N got out of the car and looked to the scene in front of her with wide eyes. "yu?" she said with a voice of concern, yungyu hummed and grabbed her hand pulling her towards the entrance. Buying tickets was a pain because they both fought on who should've paid. In the end Y/N won by point out a dog to Yungyu and sliding the lady cash while he wasn't looking. "You never let me pay! It makes me seem like a cheap boyfriend" Yungyu rolled his eyes as they walked amongst the crowds. "You payed for my coffee on monday"
Y/N stated and pulled him in line for a ride.

"Does that even count?" he looked at her, Y/N smiled and nodded. Yungyu looked to the mysterious ride Y/N had made them get in line for, "Holy shit, that looks terrifying" he said watching the ride twirl quickly. "Awwwh, don't worry I'll be here to protect you" Y/N said squeezing his cheek and pulling him close sarcastically. "I never pick you for one who enjoyed scary rides" he said as they where buckled into the ride.

Y/N smiled big to Yungyu which calmed his nerves knowing she was having fun. The ride started slowly and gradually picked up speed, Yungyu grabbed Y/N's hand and gave it a squeeze. Y/N screamed as they were now moving fast. Yungyu let out a wheeze of laugher, a weird nervous habit he had picked up. Y/N laughed along side him, "you okay?" she yelled above the other screaming riders, "I'm just glad you're having fun!" he yelled back. The ride slowly came to a stop, Y/N helped Yungyu stumble out of the ride.

"How about we play a game" Yungyu said still trying to regain his balance. Y/N scoffed, "those are just scamming you out of your tickets and money" she said as Yungyu stepped up to a ring toss. "Okay, but I'm master at these games soooo" he handed two of his tickets to the guy running the games and began throwing rings.

Once the game was over Y/N had noticed he hadn't missed any of the bottles, "What prize do you want" the person running the game said boredly. Yungyu pointed to a small fluffy bear that was hanging up, after being handed the bear he turned around and held it out to Y/N who was standing behind him. "This is extremely cheesy of you, you know that right?" she said taking the bear from him and holding it close. "Yeah but you love it" Yungyu said smirking, making Y/N roll her eyes.

The sun had started to set as they laughed and ate cotton candy and other sweets that were bound to make them sick later. "Wanna be even cheesier and go on the farris wheel?" Yungyu said pointing. Y/N nodded and got up from the table they sat at to get in line. The line moved quickly as it was already their turn to get into one of the carriages (?) .

Y/N placed her head on Yungyus shoulder and looked at the now dark starry sky in front of them. "Thank you for forcing me out of my house" she said making Yungyu laugh. "It's my job at this point" Y/N smiled softly and pressed a kiss to Yungyus cheek. He scoffed, "I took you out of the house and all I get is a cheek kiss as a thank you?" he said jokingly. Y/N rolled her eyes and pressed a small kisses all over Yungyus face, and then a final kiss on his lips. "Much better" he hummed happily, kissing her once more before looking back at the sky in front of them.

The next morning, Y/N sat in chemistry looking at the paper in front of her easily answering all the questions she had studied. She looked over to Yungyu who sat a few seats away looking scared. Y/N coughed loudly making Yungyu look up and making eye contact with her. She widened her eyes and looked to her fingers. Long story short, Y/N forced Yungyu to study with her for the next chemistry test.
