Pomu pov: Nijisanji Academy is a school where the most talented and hardworking students come to hone their skills, but apparently not everyone has learned that memo. I went over and knocked on the door to my friend's dorm but got no answer from the girl inside.
"Selen, it's class time!" I called out loudly to try to get the girl to respond to me, but as per usual, I was hit by silence.
I reached out and tested the door. It was unlocked, so I swung it open, revealing her room. On one side was a messy gamer pad. Papers were thrown all over, mixed with the trash overflowing from the garbage can. Trophies and race numbers were thrown about with little to no care. The blinds were tightly shut and taped at the bottom to ensure that no sun could peek in. The only light was from the TV, which was always left on.
The other side was neat. Not a single speck of trash could be found lying around. The right side of the room was well lit, and the blinds were fully open, letting the sun soak into the room but unfortunately not reaching past where the room split. The bed was perfectly made, as if the resident had measured out a perfect bed-making ratio. The only signs of a cluster on the right side were books nearly stacked in the corner. This was perfect for a study session.
Unfortunately, I am heading to the right. I walked over to the messy, disheveled bed while trying not to trip over garbage. "Wake up!" I shouted, annoyed by the girl who had overslept.
"Ugh-Pomu, I don't want to go to class." Selen sighed The discontent in her voice was immaculate; she seemingly hates going to class because it's pointless to her.
"You have to go to at least three classes or you'll be suspended!" I yelled at her, hoping it would motivate her, but to no avail.
I somehow got the purple-haired girl to at least sit up and look at me. "Look, Pomu, why should I go to class? What do I learn that's new?" She genuinely asked me
I sighed in response to that stupid question. "You wouldn't know since you don't go!" I shouted at her.
"Shut the fuck up, Pomu." Selen scoffed at me. She lifted up her right arm and poked my head with the dragonic arm. Everything about this woman reeks of disorder, even her appearance.
"Owwww!" I hissed with fury since her nails are insanely sharp.
She stood up and stretched a tiny bit. "Fine, I'll at least attempt to go to class." Selen sarcastically spoke, putting emphasis on the word attempt.
"Shower..." I told her.
She looked at me like I just told her to do the most heinous act imaginable, and all I did was tell her to shower before we went out. "Why?" She suddenly asked me
"You smell like shit, Selen!" I screamed She just glared at me and began to laugh at me.
"Pomu, of course I know why I have to shower; you act like I don't partake in hygenics." Selen teased
"Ugh, that's true, but you can stop messing with me!" I yelled at her.
"Give me ten minutes. You came here too early. What is wrong with you?" Selen asked
"I thought maybe if I get you early, I can convince you to actually come to class for once!" I told her
"As I said, I will make an attempt," She clarified before disappearing into the bathroom.
About twenty minutes later, Selen finally emerged from the bathroom. I glared daggers at her, and she tilted her head in confusion, asking, "Why are you mad?" Her words upset me.
"You made me wait twenty minutes, you bastard; did your mom never teach you to never leave a woman waiting!" I growled
"Well, I was hoping you'd leave, and besides, you are barely a woman, Pomu," She mocked.
