Petra pov: "Vox Akuma, it's time..."
I walked towards the demon, who began to laugh. "You are weak; you can't beat me!" He scoffed at me and mocked me as per usual, but for some reason his remarks aren't scathing today: "Without your hoddie, you're useless!" He summoned a demonic blade and launched it at me. I sidestepped and watched it whiz past me as it burrowed into the ground. I grabbed the handle and picked the weapon up before running at Vox. "Wha-" He didn't expect me to come up close and personal. I swung the blade he ducked under, but I predicted it would bring the blade back. I sliced just barely below the neck; blood sprayed out, and he jumped back in fear. I chucked the blade at him, which barely missed as well.
"Vox, it's over."
He hated me for saying that to him; he was enraged by my words. Everything I have said to him has actually been the truth.
"You can't use ice magic, so I'll see how you deal with this since you are useless!" He yelled
He summoned about two hundred demon knives and launched them my way in all directions. "Water magic: water rings..." I calmly said my spell name, and as the knives came at me, they were wrapped in water, stopping mid-air.
"Water Magic!?" He screamed
"Oh, I'm not a one-trick pony. I have had water magic all my life, but since Reimu was drowned and doesn't like water magic, I decided I was only going to use it for protection, not that she ever knew I had it."
Vox began to laugh hysterically at me for what I said: "Magic is meant for battle!" He snarled
"Actually, magic was made to be supplementary, not for battle, but humans decided to be barbaric."
"Raaaa!" Vox ran at me, summoning a blade. Last minute, he swung the blade, and I ducked the sword, getting stuck in the tree above.
"Vox-do better than that!"
I punched him in the stomach, making him gag, and then kicked him away to gain distance. "You-" I didn't let him finish before jumping up and kneeing his face. I flipped over him, picking up a stray knife, and slit open his back. He stumbled forward in agony.
He went for a straightforward move, a simple slow punch, "Water Pillar." The pillar formed and captured his arm. I launched forward, hitting his face as hard as I could. A tooth shot out, cutting his lip. He lifted his hand moments later, in disbelief.
"You-you bitch..." he stuttered in rage.
"I'm not sorry..." I coldly told him
I walked over to him, and as soon as I was in range, he grabbed a stray knife and stabbed me in the stomach. "Ble-glrh!" I vomited blood as he pushed the knife deeper into me. I immediately blasted him with water, pushing him away. I grabbed the knife, yanking it out, and then manipulated water on the wound. "Oww..." I panted
"Petra Gurin, you can't attack me, but I can attack you all. I hope eventually you'll bleed out from all the accumulated damage you've taken. You will die here, and I will laugh at your corpse. You deserve it for your defiance, woman!" Vox yelled
Using a water geyser I created, I launched myself forward. I hit him with a lariat. As soon as contact was made, he rained knives down. I managed to catch some of them with water, but some of them stabbed me.
"I'm going to have to use ice magic."
Vox smiled at that statement: "Do it!" He yelled. He was clearly trying to coax me into it. He wants me to get too cold, so I turn into a penguin. He can kill me easier, but I won't fall for it. Blood seeped down my body, only being picked up by the water around the wounds.
