Elira pov: I was looking down at my book, totally immersed in it, only to hear rustling noises. I peeked up a little from my book and saw Selen had been up before me. I looked at the clock and was enamored by her. She saw my slight glance at her and smirked.

"Morning," She calmly said to me. I raised my eyebrow, questioning her words.

"What's the occasion?" I asked her while turning the page of my book. Selen didn't reply to me as per usual, so I cleared my throat.

My half-sister sighed and finally gave me an answer: "I'm just up." That's all she said to me, but that seemed fishy to me.

I decided to call her bluff. "Is that so?" I asked her, expecting the usual comeback or retort.

"Yes, it is." She claimed, her composure even shocked me.

I was under the common supposition that she was planning something mischievous, as she usually does. I turned my attention back to my book as Selen walked over to the mini fridge. "Do you want breakfast?" She asked

I stared at my sister in incredulity. She has never asked me something like that before. Maybe on a rare occasion she'll play nice, but only to butter me up, and today her movements are listless like usual.

"Why the offer?" I asked incredulously, and she just shrugged in response, which made me question her more.

"Can I not be nice to my only sister?" She asked me I glared at her and put my book down.

"What is up?" I asked her more firmly this time to make sure she heard me.

"Nothing at all!" Selen promised

"Sorry for being so nosy and not trusting you; it's just that you usually get into some trouble, and then I have to bail you and Pomu out of it in the end." I sighed

"It's fine, Elira; after all, I don't want mom to be mad at you," she claimed.

I smiled at her. It seems as if, for the first time, she has taken my lecture to heart and decided to take school more seriously. This honestly makes me happy.

"Selen, can you please clean your side of the room?" I politely asked since it is genuinely an eyesore.

"I could..." She replied.

I honestly forgot I was talking to Selen. She's going to be difficult no matter what because she can, but I think this may genuinely be the first normal conversation I've had with her that wasn't a lecture since we got here.

"I would like you to clean up your side of the room, or at least you could open the blinds and let in some light," I said.

"As I said, I'll think of it, Elira." Selen mumbled

"Did you go to sleep before three in the morning last night?" I asked

"Yes, I did, and I'm really craving bubble waffles!" Selen stated this while she brewed green tea.

"Actually, I bought some," I mentioned to her.

"How thoughtful!" Selen stated as she took them out. I really couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not. Nonetheless, The two of us ate breakfast together, which has been an odd occurrence, and then my sister was the first to leave, which was also odd, but I won't doubt her.

I left around an hour later, and as I was around the boys dorms

looked around in confusion as Fulgar Ovid had a bunch of robots mobilizing as they marched down the hall.

"What is going on?" I asked the white-haired man, and he glanced at me and laughed.

"Ah, you see, Elira, Selen Tatsuki challenged Vox to a fight, so I'm going to help him kill her!" Fulgar laughed
