-----------------------------------------------------------

At noon in the quiet little town known as Faraway, the streets were the slightest bit noisier than they usually were as a group of teens occupied them, filling them with friendly chatter and harmless banter.

This particular group of teens was well-known in this small town, after all, almost everyone knew everyone in Faraway, though this unlikely group was quite infamous nonetheless.

There was the oldest of the group, Henry, better known as Hero, one of the town's golden children. Talented, kind, gentle, selfless, and ever-so wise despite his young age of 19.

Hero's little brother, Kelsey, or Kel, as he insisted on being called. The athletic, friendly, upbeat boy filled with boundless energy and the desire to help as many as he can.

There was Aubrey, the leader of Faraway's infamous group of delinquents, though the group had recently put away their violent, aggressive tendencies at their leader's request. The girl was hot-headed, confident, and stubborn, though Faraway was shocked and somewhat pleased to learn of her soft, helpful, and more thoughtful side that tended to show itself more often nowadays.

There was Basil, the boy once perceived as somewhat of a damsel in distress due to his tendency to attract bullies, now coming to be known for his loyal, gentle, timid personality and his ever-so caring demeanour as the boy's walls began to slowly come down and his true nature began to come out of hiding after so long.

And finally, the baby of the group, the stoic, silent, and somewhat odd boy that was Sunny. Reappearing out of seemingly nowhere, he was a mystery to most of Faraway's inhabitants, though they all knew him to be a sweet and helpful boy nevertheless. Always acting for -what he seemed to perceive as, anyways- the benefit of others, though sometimes what exactly that was seemed to be unknown on occasion.

The group seemed quite odd at first glance, often leaving people wondering just how this close-knit bunch even gravitated towards each other in the first place, though upon closer inspection, anyone could see that they fit together in their own comfortable, unconventional ways.

The occasion of the day was noon. Lunchtime. The group had stopped by Gino's Pizza and had been ushered out the door by the eldest to eat together at their favourite hangout spot (As to not become a distraction or annoyance -yet again- to the other patrons attempting to enjoy their own lunches in peace).

"Alright, secret hangout spot here we come!" Kel yelled, quite loudly.

"It's not exactly a secret if you scream its existence to the whole town at the top of your lungs, dumbass." Aubrey quipped, rolling her eyes and elbowing the tall boy.
