𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐓𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒, her previous roommate cleared out her things. She left without a fuss like an obedient child, Quinn said. But knew Niles had a hand in the matter, evident on his face when arriving at the airport to greet his favorite and only known cousin.
Deena took residence at Greenbaum Hall as Quinn's new roommate. A double suit where only a bathroom separated their much private room. Erik fought the entire flight home that she should stay with him at his apartment rather than subject herself to constant triggers and test limits that shouldn't be tested...And it was tempting until realizing the many opportunities that were lost because of fear, in the place where it all started.
For once, Deena wished to gain control of those memories and experience her last years in college like everyone else. Like she wasn't only the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson, but also a somewhat normal college student. Like everyone else so she could regain the ambition as before. And by doing that meant subjecting herself to constant triggers and testing limits that shouldn't be tested. Expose therapy as Dr. Armborn and her psychiatrist suggested.
After settling in shortly and her mother successfully compelled Deena back into the school's system, Deena celebrated her return with a well-deserved sleepover to get back into the gist of things. Definitely needed a drink after stressing where to place her clothes with more shipping over. There was no space in her closet and dresser that everything had to be sent to the new house brought in Deena's name located in Garden District. It'd be awkward living across The Abattoir occupied by Marcel and there was no space for her garden. Plus the apartment was given to Niles when he chose to stay.
Campus appeared a lot bigger than two years ago. Or everything within the tour magically slipped her mind while living in a completely different country.
In other words, Deena was lost.
Erik caught her wandering around just when she was calling him. He mentioned he got up even earlier to walk her but she wasn't at her dorm when he arrived. The two had a quick breakfast together and he walked her to the culinary building for her 9:30 Research Method class that went right into Writing Skills.
