𝔽𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕩 𝕠𝕣 𝕩 𝔽𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪 ~ Chapter 3.1

Uvo was currently up against none other than the Shadow Beasts. Shalnark's eyes widened as his hands shot up to his ears. The rest of you did the same as Uvogin let out an ear piercing scream. A minute or so later, the final Shadow Beast (that was there) collapsed. The rest of the members in the team gathered around Uvo, sucking out the poison and telling Uvo to "drink lot's of beer and urinate frequently." 

"Y/N, can you do anything about the leaches?" Shizuku asked. "No, my ability isn't precise enough, sorry." you sighed. Suddenly, as Shizuku began to suck out the poison, chains flew out from behind, wrapping around Uvogin. 

You ended up in pursuit of a vehicle, tracking them using Machi's string. You were on the roof of the car as there was ABSOLUTELY no room within, even after squishing. The string was pulled off and you agreed to chase down the car.

A cloth flew over the vehicle, the troupe members dashing out and you doing the same. The others began fighting and you ran away, after the chain users vehicle.

"It has to be him.." you said to yourself. "Yes!" You saw Kurapika in the front seat, eyes scarlet and yelling at Uvogin. "Yikes... I'll just call you later, hah..." you decided, dashing off in a different direction. You stood outside the auction building where the crime had occured, wondering if they had gotten the merchandise yet. 

A text from them, asking if you were on your way back. You replied with a simple yes, and turned to leave. 

You arrived within moments and listened to the plan halfheartedly. Some members would be disguised as mafia members and retrieve Uvo. You sighed and after everyone left for their assignments, looked at Chrollo, your eyes burning holes through him. "Is something the matter, Y/N?" he asked innocently.

"The Kurta Clan."

"What did you all do to them?"

"..."

"Listen, Y/N. The troupe had good reasoning to attack them. You shouldn't focus on that-"

"Okay then. The reason. Tell me."

"Their eyes."

"Excuse me?"

"Their eyes, they were to beautiful to remain in the Kurta's heads. You understand, right?"

"..."

"What the hell."

"Y/N."

"I'm not joining you monsters."

Chrollo approached you. You stepped back instinctively but felt a stinging warm pain hit your neck.

"That's not a choice you get to make, Y/N."

You blacked out.

"What... the hell..?" you said, waking up to feel your muscles aching. Many members in the troupe were around you, first to speak was Feitan, "Look like someone awake. You in trouble. Boss want talk you." The rest of the troupe stepped away, you tried to run but felt Machi's nen strings restraining you. "Damn..." you sighed. "Y/N." Chrollo said, "You will join the troupe. And that's final." You scowled, "Trying to convince me to join you by tying me up and demanding I join hardly seems fair. I'm not going down without a fight, Lucilfer."

You coughed up blood and healed yourself yet again. You had to admit, this fight was the most exhausting thing you had ever done. "Go ahead and give up, Y/N. Killing you would be quite a waste of talent." Chrollo said. 

"No, I'm good." you laughed. His calm expression faltered for just a moment, as he said, "Well, then let's go somewhere far out and deserted. If I fight you in the presence of, someone, they may get excited." He exchanged a look with Hisoka, who was sitting on the window, seemingly having an... 

a/n: skip this next line if you don't wanna hear a sus word

You nodded and the two of you ran to an opening in the middle of a dark forest. He opened his book and flipped through. You stood back cautiously, wondering what he would use. He shook his head, shutting the book and pulling out a Bens Knife.

33 seconds later, your arms were pouring blood. You had held your arms up defensively and he managed to land a hit. 

"Damn it to hell..." you muttered.

Finally, the conditions had been met to activate your nen ability.

1. Being up against a nen user.

2. Have been attacked.

3. Trying every other option you could think of.

"Before this goes any further, what are the conditions as to win the fight?" you asked. 

"If you won it would be by escaping, killing me or making me surrender. As for me, I only intend on having won once you've joined the troupe." he smiled cheekily. 

"Gotcha."

You felt your vision and hearing fading, and stated your intention. "I'll make you surrender."

"Geez, my head hurts." you whined, feeling your senses return. You opened your eyes to see Chrollo knocked over and smiling. "So that's your secret, huh?" he said, noticing the change back in your presence. "You did surrender, yes?" you laughed. "Yes, does your ability not deactivate until you do what you intended?" he asked. You smiled. "Well, see you... not." you waved. You moved your hand into your pocket, copying the other and silently walked away. 

"See you soon." he semi-warned.

After you had gotten a few kilometers away, you pulled out your phone and clicked a contact. 

"Y/N?"

Y/N has left the troupe behind for good and has now contacted someone. Who did they call? Why did they call them? What made them so mad about the Kurta massacre? Find out in the next chapters, which hopefully will be less plot filled!
