"You got lost HOW many times?" Kurapika laughed. "Twenty-three." you muttered.
"How?!"
"Uh, well..."
"Huh?" I looked around. F/N had stopped a while back, apparently. "Y/N!" a voice called. I looked around. I could almost see the outside. "Jeez, I went too far!" I panicked, and ran back. "Sorry, ma'am!" I apologized, "I'm very sorry!" She tsked, "What are you doing out so far? It's against the rules to go out, you know that."
"Yes, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I had gone so far, I apologize." I bowed my head respectfully, "Me and F/N were looking for caterpillars and stopped but I didn't notice and got lost."
Kurapika laughed, but stopped as he gave you a serious look, "Um... Y/N?" he began, "Is it okay... if I ask how...why the troupe spared you?"
"Heh, I thought you'd never...ask." I sighed.
"F/N? Please... wake up." you choked out, seeing your friends lifeless body. "Hey, there's still a presence." a voice spoke. You went silent, and hid in a bush. 'Presense? ' you thought, 'So they can sense people? Maybe I can hide it...' You focused all your mind into concealing your presence, and succeeded. However, you obviously were found because you hid before concealing it. "Here they are." a girl with pink hair pulled you out. Your eyes were currently scarlet, and you forced yourself to calm down. "They're pretty stubborn." an older man noted, "Should we just kill them, boss?"
"No, they have the scarlet eyes. We'll just let them live, only until their eyes turn scarlet again."
"That's disgusting." Kurapika spat, "Why didn't you do something?" "I was seven."
