Saying x Goodbye ~ Chapter 4.1

"Your an Enhancer, so think of a power that enhances something."

Killua was trying to walk Gon through making a Nen ability, "Then you ask, what part of you do you want to strengthen, and how?" His ears started to steam, earning a smack from Killua. "That hurt! What about you, then?" he asked. Killua stood, "I already know what I want. That's why I'm helping you." Gon looked up, asking, "Really? What do you want?" Sticking a lollipop in his mouth, he responded, "It's a secret. Get Y/N's help, or something." "Huh?" 

"Gon, I'm going to go start practicing my special attack." he continued, "You two can brainstorm. Though it's possible that me and Y/N are the only ones who'll pass the screening." He shut the door, leaving the two of you to think. "Hm..." his ears steamed. "It's no use!" 

"Chill, chill! Think this through bit by bit."

He sighed and lied down. After a minute, he sat up, "Damn it! I'll show him!"

"You two are hard at work." a voice called from the doorway. "Kurapika! Are you better?" Gon asked. He smiled, "Yeah,  my fever broke. I'm fine now."

Gon looked worried, lost in thought. He came and sat on the couch, "So how did the auction go? I believe you were after an expensive game?" "Oh, yeah."

"I see, so they're screening players." he turned to Gon. "So what kind of training did you do?" Gon asked.

"Once I decided to conjure chains, I did a lot of imagery training. I felt them with my eyes closed, drew thousands of pictures of them, I looked at chains, tasted chains. I also smelled and listened to them." he informed, "My master told me to do nothing but play with chains all the time. After  a while, he took them away. That was when I began to hallucinate chains. Eventually, those hallucinations began to feel heavy and cold, and I could hear them grating. Once I reached that point, I was able to conjure chains. Other than that, I did the same training as you. Ten and Ren."

He looked down in thought then turned to you, "What about you Y/N?"

"I was fighting for my life 24 hours a day, twice a week." you responded nonchalantly. "Um..." 

Gasping, he smiled, "I know! You and Kurapika can be my masters! You can point out what I'm doing right." Kurapika closed his eyes, holding up a hand, "I'm sorry, but I cannot." Gon, distraught, asked, "What?" He elaborated, "My boss will be leaving tomorrow. (you quit if anyones wondering, you just felt bored lmao) I am obligated to accompany her."

"You're leaving Yorknew City?"

"Yeah." he looked down, "I'm still concerned about the Spiders. But it's been two days, so they've probably left."

"Yeah, it's for the best!"

"And I really just don't understand the shit I do well enough to teach it." you added.

Kurapika did another weird ass hand motion, holding up one finger, "Who taught you Nen? You should probably ask them rather than us." 

Gon called Wing, and he chatted for a minute.

"Why not?"

"But I don't have time. I have to pass a screening in 4 days."

"No."

"You think so?"

"A hint! Please give me a hint!"

"I would agree if it weren't for this deadline."

"Yeah."

"At the same time?"

He hung up, confused. His brain shorted out after a minute. "Gon..."
