I'm introducing the idea of carrier pigeons to deliver letters, sounds fun and works with this chapter.

Y/N's POV:

'So close...'

'He's so close...'

'I can feel his breath ghost over my face...'

It was almost like time had came to a stand-still. I daren't speak. I daren't move, If I did, I think I would become a sodden pool.

My eyes drifted up to his own pair, seeking for his attention and maybe... just maybe... something more.

If I had a penny for every time I fawned over his eyes, I imagine I would be in a different country. His eyes displayed emotions, hidden emotions; stories of his past. All things I would listen to like a fairy tale being told back to me. Behind those eyes, I wanted to know his true nature, why he chose to break into the castle, why he's choosing to stay with us still, why he's such a flirtatious little shit. He's got me entranced, captivated, enthralled. Just from those damn, beautiful eyes.

I managed to break my mind. I still didn't trust my self to say anything, so I just swallowed the lump forming in my throat. I felt my cheeks burning in sheer embarrassment. I've never had to deal with this situation before. I don't know what to do. What do I do?

"Relax, sweet cheeks. I ain't gonna bite. Unless... you're into that of course." His smooth voice teased in my ear. This man keeps flustering me every time he simply utters a damn word. Screw him.

I felt his hand on my cheek slowly leave. I enjoyed the warmth it was giving, yet I didn't realise I sighed at the loss of contact. However, it didn't fall upon deaf ears as Flynn broke out into a smirk. The same hand appeared on the back of my neck- keeping my head in place. My nerves were skyrocketing, I felt like I would crumple to the floor and simply melt in to the floorboards.

And that's exactly what happened.

I felt a hand pull on the back of my knee. I fell, landing on his lap. I didn't expect to straddle him and I certainly didn't expect to kind of like this. My hands found their way on his shoulders, keeping me physically stable meanwhile mentally, I was a complete trainwreck. My mind was going 90 miles an hour; my heart was beating so loud, I was worried Flynn would hear it.

"Easy sweetheart, you look panicked," a hand slithered it's way around my hips, another hand resting on my waist, "are you okay with this? Tell me the word and I'll stop." His voice was smooth like silk. His words were sweet like honey. I'd never thought I'd be charmed by such a man. A thief more-so. Ain't it funny how he's stole my heart already?

I looked at him through my lashes, my lips had drifted apart, and I muttered an answer.
He looked at me as much to say: 'What did you say?' So I cleared my throat and averted my gaze, I was too embarrassed to look him in the eyes and say it.
"I... I don't... mind... Yes. I'm... I'm okay with this." A small smile played on my lips as I looked back at him, looking for a reaction. I sure got one when he looked quite surprised, but that quickly vanished when it was replaced with one of his smirks. His smirks that make my stomach flip.

"Then, you would be okay with what I'm about to do next?" Once again, a hand was placed against my nape as he drew closer, stopping an inch or so away from my lips. We were like magnets in that moment- attracted to each other.

"Are you still okay with this?" I swear to God, this man is teasing me at this point. I can't resist it anymore, he's too attracting.

"Well, would you look at that." (Flynn Rider x reader)Where stories live. Discover now
