(I don't know about y'all but on my laptop, it doesn't show the other half of the chapter - So I'm having to put up part twos and shit- Anyway, hope you lot like it and I'll see you all again soon)
"So anyway..." You cleared your throat, wrapping your fingers around a glass of water before bringing the fragile material to your lips, letting the water slide past the soft flesh, "Blondie... We kind of need your approval in this. Don't mind if we... make a scene, do ya?" You asked, quirking a brow slightly as you gently placed the beverage down, a soft clink resounding. the young woman paused, mulling over her options. She could either stay and not get caught, but get no freedom, get no way of making her dreams come true, go no way of proving Mother Gothel wrong just as she intended to.
Or...
She could go. She could escape her cage. She could escape like a bird - a free bird. No restraints. No tower. No Mother Gothel. She could see the world, the same world that kept her hidden for God knows how long. She could get a closer look t all the details and beautiful scenery that she only sees from the gaping window. She could be free. But what if she gets caught? What if Mother Gothel finds her? What if she gets kidnapped again and no one finds her? What if she just saves herself the hassle?
"I - Well... It sounds great - But -" But she just couldn't find the words to say no.
You looked at her, patiently waiting for a simple word to utter past those hesitant lips of hers. A simple word that would change her life forever. One word that will bring all of the woman's dreams come true. Yes.
"...Ok."
She's in.
A smile broke out and a small nod from you as you got out of the chair, starting to approach her, "All you've got to do, sweetheart, is get us and yourself out of this tower. Leave the rest to us." You said, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder before retracting it back to your side. You gaze left Blondie and landed on Flynn, who watched you with a quirked brow, "You, me, business. Let's go." You began, already making your way in to the kitchen and searching through the cupboards looking for anything that could resemble a bit of blood, "Just for special effects..." A mutter escaped past your lips as you continued your search.
Flynn rolled his eyes slightly, getting out of his seat and lazily walking towards you, "You know, sweet cheeks, you got another day to sort of do this... Just thrash some things around and," He leaned against the wall that divided the kitchen from the living room, but his attention was solely on your crouched form, " 'Make a scene'."
You rolled your eyes and brought your body back up from it's position, but a sudden bang and a groan stopped that from happening. Your hand clutched your now sore head as you shuffled back a little before trying again, "Damn that hurt..." You muttered, scowling at the cupboard before roughly shutting its doors. A soft sigh escaped you before you let your hand dangle at your sides, turning your attention to Flynn, "Yeah, but I like to do things sooner. Sooner the better." You replied back.
He only nodded, knowing what you meant, "Uh huh... But you've got all this free time. Free time that you could be spending on -" He was about to make a retort, a retort he made a deal on not to do for the next three days. He huffed and changed his answer immediately, " -on making sure your shoulder is healed properly." He muttered, briefly glancing over at said injured shoulder, which earnt a response of you rolling your shoulder a little.
"It's fine... Look, I need this to be pretty accurate... I need it to be spot on. If I do it now, I can look over it tomorrow and make changes." Your words reached his ears, but he made no attempt at responding for the moment, "... I am not wasting my time on you, if that's what you were going to say." You glared softly at him, to which earnt a response from him.
"You think I'm a time waster?" He smirked softly, looking you up and down with a quirked brow and crossed arms, still leaning against the side of the wall, "God, you hurt my feelings, Princess." You simply rolled your eyes and gave him the middle finger.
"Get thicker skin and kiss my ass." You grumbled, turning your back to him, to which he laughed and pushed himself away from the wall and now towards you. He was about to say something else before a much younger voice broke out, getting slightly louder as they neared the room occupied by the two of you. Your head turned and you were met with Flynn who gazed down at you. A huff and a slight shove solved your problem as you stepped away and towards their voice.
"What's up, Goldie?" You called, meeting her half-way, "You backing out?"
You expected a 'yeah' but you were only met with a slightly worried expression on her face. A small furrow of your brows and a slight glance down South, a small, neatly folded paper in grasps of her dainty fingers- soft and untainted from the world's arduous reality.
"Yeah uh... Just received a little message... Mother's coming home tomorrow." As soon as those words left her mouth, a cold chill poured over your body, like ice was melting and cooling the heat of your skin, the heat from the adrenaline of staging a kidnapping - something far from doing in your line of work. Your eyes widened and your breathing stopped. Time came to a stand still for what felt like hours, but was really only a few seconds.
Jesus.
Fucking.
Christ.
Suddenly, a clear of a throat behind you was enough to wake you from this ever lasting trance of shock. Your eyes briefly looked to the side, taking note of Flynn's wide eyed expression as well. God fucking damn it. Your attention drew back to the young girl in front, the messenger as of now, matching her expression of nervousness and surprise.
"You're joking... right?"
