Going back to the Demon Slayer HQ after being away for a month and a bit was... interesting, to say the least. Not that Y/N was expecting a whole big welcome back, no, none of the Hashira were ones to make anything a big deal, other than Tengen and Kyoujuro... but both of them had retired.
Had Obanai, Kagaya nor Tengen told any of the other Hashira?
It was possible.
Either way, after passing out at the destroyed entertainment district, the Kakushi were able to wake them up, but not the three that were with them. Those three slayers wouldn't be waking up for a while, with Tanjiro having the most severe injuries, excluding Tengen who was taken home by his wives.
Y/N was most definitely going to miss that flamboyant man, Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma. It was safe to say, Y/N loved them wholeheartedly. They had for a long while now.
The h/c haired Hashira themselves had even sustained multiple somewhat severe injuries, which included the one on the stomach, they held the Kakushi back. They needed to see a few people first, and no one was going to hold them back from it.
Kagaya had informed the Moon Hashira of everyone's whereabouts when the Kakushi tried to restrain Y/N from going anywhere but the Butterfly Estate, but as much as they wished to see Shinobu right now, Gyomei was the person who raised them, trained them. The one to give them a purpose in life, and brought them to where they were now.
Gyomei was the reason Y/N continued to fight day and night, getting stronger.
They would see Shinobu when they decided they wanted to go to the Butterfly Estate.
Black spots danced into Y/N's vision as they held their stomach, which thankfully hadn't started bleeding again after the quick clean-up job from Kakushi. They were close to Gyomei's estate and they weren't about to let a few measly injuries stop them.
Standing in front of the familiar door that was a door to a second home to them, Y/N took a deep breath.
God, they hoped he wouldn't be angry.
Three shaky knocks were all Y/N could tap onto the door, informing Gyomei someone was here.
As the h/c haired Hashira could only breath when they heard footsteps come closer, a feeling of inexplicable joy filled their heart; they couldn't contain their happiness to see the giant cuddly man again.
