❝ weaknesses and whatnot are not to be found
carrying the morning star within
showing any weakness is no good, no good (hey! hey!)
don't let them see anything that they don't want to know. ❞

With everything going so well in the last few days proceeding the battles which resulted in the death of both Upper Moon Five, Gyokko and Upper Moon Four, Hantengu, Y/N finally caught a much well-deserved break... with the added addition of their newly acquired demon friend.

Who just so happened to be Upper Moon One, Kokushibo.

Their estate had become like (as Y/N would describe it) a vampire's den.

Blinds closed, windows open only during the day to left the breeze in. Fresh blood stored in a cool place (courtesy of Tamayo who had regularly been sending them blood since they had been exchanging letters).

There had also been a lot of... discussions.

Especially with the red-haired ghost silently listening in, now staying by Y/N's side every day since his twin brother had officially joined them.

The fact Nezuko could now safely walk in the sun as a demon had both Kokushibo and Akaza flabberghasted and befuddled. They both were quite curious as to what made her different. That was until Tamayo had send a letter - to which Kokushibo furrowed his eyebrows upon seeing her name, as she was known to be a traitor to Muzan - and explained something that was different in Nezuko's blood, and why she was so different.

It explained why she was never able to talk - stuck in a child-like state - as her blood and DNA were focusing on something different - the ability to walk in the sun.

Basically, what Y/N gathered was that Nezuko was extremely lucky as if she had died in the sun any sooner, she wouldn't have come back.

It put a smile on their face to know that Nezuko was safe now - the only thing that could kill her now, would be another demon consuming her which could only be Kibutsuji. Either way, the Corps has a strict 'no-killing-Nezuko' rule, (implemented by yours truly).

It was exactly the person who Y/N was going to see right now, wanting to see her before they had to go to their Hashira meeting. There was also the fact they wanted to see two particularly smart doctors.

Just as they were about to head into the Butterfly Estate's entrance, a screech was heard. A very familiar, loud screech that could only come from one person.
