Attack of the Herobrine

Information

"So...... Emily and Ashley. I'm going to need you to tell me everything you know about Herobrine," I said in a serious tone. I had gathered everyone in the living room area for a group meeting. We're trying to plan our next move, but in order to do that, we'll need information.

"I-I don't k-know anyt-thing!" Ashley yelled trying to exit the door, only to be blocked by Josh. She turned to me with fear in her eyes, "If I say anything he will find me and kill me!"

"He already knows where we're at," I said emotionlessly.

Emily sighed before she spoke, "First and foremost, I will explain to you what a 'brine' is."

"You mean like Mike?" Steve asked curiously.

"Both yes and no," she answered. "Mike is a brine yes, but not a fully realized one. One gains the title of 'brine' once he or she passes through a certain series of events in their life without dying. The glowing eyes are a mark of this. At this point the said person only gains extreme speed, strength, senses, and regeneration, but they do not yet have the powers that makes a brine, 'unique'," she explained to us. She looked at us all to make sure we understood before continuing, "I don't know what has to happen to become 'realized', but whatever the person went through to achieve that will dictate the color of their eyes."

I interrupted with a question, "Then why are his eyes still white?"

"Because he is a monster that killed hundreds of people to achieve his brine status. He became realized when he fought against his brother Notch. He didn't kill him, but he was able to gain control over most of the hostile mobs in this world and the Nether. The glowing eye color shows what the soul of the person is like. His white eyes show he is an emotionless monster that kills for entertainment," she answered fearfully.

Ashley chimed in, "He's created a powerful army and has begun trying to mutate his soldiers to make them stronger. I know the location of his mansion, but we're not even remotely close to being ready to attack him!"

Everyone looked depressed and frightened, which changed to shock after my next question. "So, how do we beat him?" I asked nonchalantly.

"BEAT HIM!?!?" Everyone yelled in unison.

Emily pondered at this for a couple seconds before answering, "There's a chance. Slim, but a chance. Mike is a brine. He might be able to do it." She took a deep breath and released it slowly before continuing, "I will research this. I will warn you he has killed and stolen the powers of other brines. So he will try to force you to become realized before trying to kill you. Most of the time it's through something painful."

"What type of powers has he taken?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Fire and electricity as an offensive attack. That's all I know for now, but I will research it like I said. For now get stronger," she ordered.

After we dismissed our meeting the light on the wall started flashing, indicating someone was at the entrance to the wall. "Andr and I will go check that out," I said heading out to the wall with Andr clinging to my arm. When I opened the door I was surprised to see the mayor of New Napal standing there.

"Ah! Mike! It's good to see you!" He shouted shaking my hand vigorously.

"Thanks sir. Did you need me for something?" I asked hesitantly.

"Why yes! I would like to see if you wanted to participate in the little project we're about to do. We're sending our most experienced fighters and builders to other cities to upgrade their defenses and defend against mob attacks," he stated gleefully.

"Yeah sure. Andr and I would be happy to help," I said with a slight grin.

"Excellent! Come by the city in a couple days and we will begin," he said before he walked off.

I went and explained to the rest of the group what the mayor had told me.

"I think I will train Mason and Ruby in the ways of the black market dealers," Ashley said putting her arms around their shoulders.

"Cupa and I are going on an adventure!" Steve exclaimed suddenly.

"Kennadi and I will upgrade the fort with some of the new ideas we came up with. Also, we will train during our free time," Josh said turning towards me. He pulled out a blueprint from his book and handed it to me saying, "Here's the blueprints for an explosive proof wall we invented. We already sent a copy over to New Napal." I nodded.

"Jeff and I will stay here and research and visit the library in the city," Emily said looking at Jeff, who nodded in return. "Alright guys. Looks like we're splitting up for now. Get stronger and we will meet up again at some point in time. If you ever need help send a bird and we'll be there immediately," I said heading up to my room to prepare for the long journey.

The next day we all exchanged goodbyes and headed off in our separate directions. We prepared ourselves for the trails that awaited us in the near future.
